You'll be fine, just pretend you never read this thread it only got complicated because the Coil Master is rubbish out of the box for thin coils, it's fine for > 2 mm.

My opinion of the 3 that i got from ft, absolute pile of crap. I can make a better coil in less time on my coiling buddy. Just glad they cost next to nothing as they are now binned.

Mine are still travelling. I'm gutted at reading all this. I was going to give them to my sis but unless I can work out a way to get them to work consistently with 0.25 and 0.3mm kanthal I guess I'll just give her my jig and order another.

Me too, this was supposed to be my saviour for my epic coiling failures - still FT have got those Kanger pre made coils heads at £3 for 20 and the ones that came with the sub tank mini are pretty good so I'll just order some of them instead!

Well mine came today - the 3mm one worked great with some wire of unknown gauge that comes with the Lemo (its thicker than the .25 and .32 stuff I have) but the 2.5mm one was an epic fail with the the thinner wires - all overlapped and no use to man or beast. However they are a handy post to wrap around even so and I managed to mess about and make a half decent coil so thats an improvement for me. So going to be no good for making Kanger/Aspire coils but should be okay for recoiling the Lemo and sub tank RBA.
Probably worth the £4 I paid over all but not quite the solution to all coiling problems the you tube vids suggested (unless the real one works better - I notice on the FT clone the post is fixed where as on the real one it can come out of the base.

My Kuro coilers arrived today Not had a lot of time with them but I have tried the 2.0 and the 2.5 using 0.25 Kanthal. First coil - rubbish - all overlapped Second coil - much better using no pressure on the head part. Third coil - needed a little finagling with the last wrap but other than that seemed pretty much spot on. I reckon a little patient practice and they will be fine.

Mine arrived today, first off they were terrible but after a good look at youtube I realised that only one screw is needed and that screw wasn't in fully so after tightening no 1 hole right up to body and that wasn't easy as I don't have an allen key to fit hole.... luckily my mandrel jammed in enough to twist firmly into place -- moving holes may now be an issue? With a rubber band and now sore fingers AND my lid holes weren't drilled fully on one (amazing what you can do with a xmas cracker screwdriver) I have managed to turn out some coils, the major issue is NO pressure on lid as you turn -- its not as simple as they make out but its better than my hand twisted ones on a mandrel so not a waste of £4
