I am trying to get my GT V2 up and running. I put on one of the coils that came with the unit. Put it onto my Smart 20 and cranked up the watts to 10. The unit is fully charged, but it's saying atomiser too low. The coil has about 7 wraps from what I can see. Is that too many? What does too low mean?

That would be ohm's of the coil. Have you tested the ohms of your coil? If the smart is like the istick it will not fire a coil below 1.

I don't have an ohm meter. That's still in the mail. Is there any way of judging it without a meter for now? I managed to get it to fire on my pipe mod with a 18360 battery in it. But wanted to use it on the isticks. But at least it's working.

glad it's working but I would not fire untested coils on a mech mod, if your pipe is a mech mod? If you get a short you are in trouble.
Do you have a multi meter around you can test with. If it is so low it won't fire on a smart not sure about 18350's either.
Please stay safe, sorry if it sounds patronising but it is so difficult to track of people's skill levels on forums.

The pipe mod is a mech mod. No short and it fires up no problem. I'm just wondering if the coil has too many winds. Maybe I should unwind one to 6 turns?

Hopefully in a few weeks my ohm meter will arrive. But it seems to work fine on the pipe mod, so I will use it on that till I can change the coil. I'm not short of atomisers now, as I now have 3 on the go. Nautilus mini on my mini istick, a GS Air in the Smart 20 and now the GT2 on the pipe mod, all with a different flavour. So life is good. But the GT on the pipe mod is a bit unwieldy, so might have to think of a better mod. Any suggestions? Who said giving up smoking was going to save me money. icon_shoppingm

I'm sure I'm in credit since I stopped smoking, so I'm not too bothered about my vaping expenditure. I was spending about £60 a week between the two of us and so far we have both been ciggy free for 8 weeks. So that's a massive £480. I might have spent about £200 of that in that time so we are way ahead. But I want to get the right equipment. So what mod is a good one to get to fire low ohm coils? Not necessarily sub ohm which I seem to have bumped into. Which is a great vape. I'm not sure if it's just perception but you seem to get a better hit. I have 18mg juice in at the moment, so could could probably drop it a bit. Good clouds, although I'm not sure that was my intention. I need something to balance the weight of the GT2. Maybe a vertical cylinder type? any suggestions? I only have the Smart 20 and an istick mini plus the pipe, along with a couple of vision spinners. SWMBO has nicked the spinners, so it's the isticks and pipe. So suggestions gratefully received.

I could and still be very slightly in pocket, but there must be a cheaper option that works just as well?

Loads of people have rebuildable atomisers, so what do you all use? Provari can't be the only option?
