For Rebuildable atties I use mainly Orchid V4's, £6 from Fasttech Can only agree here. Orchid V4 clones are exceptionally well made for the price and when built right are a revelation, taste and vapour wise. Only caveat I have is that they aren't for the absolute beginner and it took me a couple of builds to get it right. When done correctly and on top of my nemesis clone it is still an awesome vape.

Thanks both Greg and sydsut. But the Orchid is an atomiser not a mod. It's the mod option I'm after to use with the GT V2. The provari looks good, but a tad expensive for my stage of vaping. Is there a clone? Or other option that is similar? The GT works on my pipe mod, but being heavy it is not very balanced in the hand. So some sort of cylinder mod or box mod seems the way to go.

+1 for the Nemmi sydsut linked to, I have 3 of the exact same one. Never had a single issue.

Bobsbeer apologies, from your last post I thought you were also asking what RBA's everyone else uses. I can't add much more on the mod front as I've given my view but am sure many others will advise other options. I pretty much went went ego, mvp, Provari. I also have a couple of nemesis mech mods and they are faff free and just work but since the improvements in VW mods they no longer see the light of day. If you do go down the Mech mod route then please do a little homework first, you'll get all the info you need on the forum. IMO you need a good understanding of ohms law and a dedicated ohms meter to check your coils before firing them on a mech mod. You also need to ensure you have capable and reliable batteries.

What about the newish isticks. The 30w model says it can support sub ohm, not that I need to do that as hopefully I can coil my own coils to be more normal. Been looking at the provaris, they look good. My only concern is whether it's too advanced for me. And if I lost it, I would be gutted.

I must admit the P3 menu is quite complicated at first but within a day or so it's second nature and really easy to use. At first you miss all the button presses but it doesn't take long at all before you increase the scroll speed. to be honest once you've set it up initially and had a play the only menu settings I use daily are on and off and power up and down. Many love the iStick and Ive bought a few 20 Watters for my wife. Generally they work fine but do have issues with the 510 connector although that may be resolved with the 30w version as I believe it's spring loaded 510. ive found most cheaper mods take a little faffing around with except my vaporsharks and Provari and personally I still prefer a tube to a box. At the end of the day it's a case of how much your happy to spend against how much faff you want. Generally speaking you get what you pay for. Having said that China is a good option for quality clone atties although I'm not convinced China is the best option for non mech mods. I'm never bought a vw mod from China until last week, I'll see how it goes when it arrives.

So far most of my stuff is from China. I'm very happy with the Smart 20 istick and use it all the time with my GS Air atomiser. I also have a mini and that's good too. Both were sensible prices. I've no experience with a mechanical mod other than my pipe which is fine with a smaller atomiser. But out of balance with the GT 2 screwed on. I think I'm just going to limit the use of it till my ohm meter arrives then I can see what I'm dealing with coil wise.
