Hi Greg, I have one that will look like that the next time we have a wee bitty wind up here. I am clearing it at the moment and will be pulling down shortly. It's probably about 20 year old so it's lasted well but the rot was setting in. Replacement should be here in about 3 weeks.

Just don't order your new one from Tiger Sheds.
Their sheds are brill but the guys that take the measurements are as thick as sh*t and I spent a month redoing my new shed to get it to the size that I ordered. My neighbour also bought a Tiger Shed and between him paying for it and it being delivered, was 3 months.

I've gone with a local firm Yes. 20 years from now when this one falls apart, I will be replacing it with something local. Even if I have to pay more, considering what I have had to spend on this one to make it right, local would still be cheaper.

Well today I finally managed to reveal a bit of flooring in the old hut. 20 years of holding up piles of rubbish have not been kind to it for not only is it rotten through to the foundations, but the uprights that are supposed to be holding up the walls and the roof, have also rotted right through. Reverse gravity is the only thing that is holding that hut together.
That hut is full of the clearings from my Dad's and my Father-in-law's sheds and having lived thought WW2, they were demons for holding on to every nut, bolts, washer and screw that came their way.
So I have spent an interesting day sorting through boxes, jam jars and old tobacco tins filled with everything from carbon brushes to ceramic cable joiners. All interesting stuff of which 99% is now in the bin, where it should have been put 40 years ago.

The one thing that has disappointed me about my Vaping Shed is the view. I sit at the door beside the Vaping Area and "survey my domain" and it is, to me anyways, a mess. Well I haven't been on AAE-C recently because I have been rather busy with "my vaping vista". With bucket and spade, and some help from my friends. And a wee digger. We are about to make a start on a plan that has been kicking about in the back of my mind for a couple of years now. That is, to have a 4 crop rotation system in raised beds. Och it will be a small set up as there isn't the room for anything too big and as we are getting on a bit, we don't want to be bending down too much. So 3 foot high by 10 foot long boxes, filled with earth should make our little allotment a doddle to look after and give us a nice supply of fresh veggies for the future. By the by, that plan is not to scale. It is just to give you an idea of what it "should???" look like. Still a ways to go before I start building the beds, but at least my Vaping Vista is changing for the better and thanks to all the money I have saved from changing to Vaping, I can now think about ordering the 5 ton of wood and 20 ton of soil I will need to make the Vista a reality.

I guess that for most people, summer 2015 will be heading off for somewhere exotic with their Bucket & Spade. For Lobey it means Hameldaymi with his Spade, Hammer and Saw. Planks (50), posts (15) & Bags of cements (tons!!!!) all delivered today. I'm knackered just looking at it.
