I have two types of Kanger tanks. The original Aerotank and the Aerotank mega.
I have been using the blue cap for the Mega Tank, but there is also a black and a clear cap. just wondered what people use for the Original Aerotank, the blue or the black cap? Im not sure if it makes much difference, Im just finding the blue cap in the original is slightly more stiff when unscrewing.

Then you just add the blue or black for whatever tank you use. When I had the Aerotank Mega I used the clear cap with the black spacer. Same on an evod2.

On a single coil head protank 2 head in the standard aerotank I use the black spacer on the post. However I have also changed the aerotank base for a v2 base as well lol. But it would be the same spacer regardless.

Clear cap for single coil tanks. Black or blue for dual coil tanks. You get black and blue as they are slightly different sizes to make sure it fits all tanks.

I always used the silicon cap. Without it, because of the gap above the wick my Mega would flood.
Maybe others have different ideas??

When I first got mine I followed the instructions. But my mega kept leaking. Just a quick look at the head it's obvious that the silicon cap is needed, unless you add a flavour wick to fill up that gap. I threw the instructions away and stuck with what made sense. Did you never get flooding Roscopecotrain? If the cup shaped silicon cap wasn't necessary kanger would have just used a flat piece.

Hi all, just to clarify, as Ross has said, clear cap for single coil tanks, blue for dual coil tanks, if you feel it's stiff to screw the tank base back on or your unicoil us unscrewing when you remove the base then use the black spacer. if there is a visible gap in the wick channels and you are worried about flooding simply fluff up the wicks a little. Hope this helps

I'm out - the man has spoken
One thing, I kept getting flooding when I did it right. Doing it wrong fixed it.

Think I'll keep doing it wrong, doesn't leak or flood or gurgle!

If it works for you go with it. You could always try a little more cotton when you rewick. Hope you are all still enjoying them.
