I know I should really make a serious attempt to start mixing my own juice. Have even bought some flavours and nic juice base. Yet it appears I have a mixing phobia. Can't explain it lol.
Has anyone else got this unfortunate condition?

I bought a few flavours, 24mg VG nic base & some plain VG, but to be honest they have just been sat in my tool box pretty much untouched.
Everytime I open the box, I look at it all and then close the lid lol. I did have good intentions at the time I bought them, but I keep backing out.
I have vaped the same pre-mixed juice pretty much from day one and I know I'm not going to be able to recreate it. The majority of juices I've tried just haven't suited the palette. I especially avoid the chocolate, creamy kind of flavours as they make me feel a bit sick.
I try to keep believing that one day I'll become a chief mixer, but not sure when that will happen lol.

If you like a juice that you can buy in a "one shot" concentrate (such as tjuice red astaire) start with one of them, it will give you the confidence to mix multiple concentrates.

You should really give it a go as there's plenty of really good recipes in this forum, that are as good if not better than bought juices. If your lucky you may even find a version of your ADV.

There's no vaping commandment that says you have to mix your own eliquid hissie . . . if you don't want to do it, then don't! All things aren't for everyone in the vaping world, even if they are relatively straightforward. I hate coiling, though I can do it albeit badly . . . so I use ready coils instead. I'd imagine you're quite content with the Grape and Tobacco flavours you've always bought from James, if it's not broken don't try and fix it! Why put yourself under pressure unnecessarily if you don't have the mindset to do it?

Has anyone else got this unfortunate condition? Called will i do it right, this stuff is harmful basic all the warnings on bottles put you off did me for a while, just bite the bullet and go for it.Many of us will have had mixing disasters, golden rule with concentrates... Strong smell concentrate.... keep percentage low,add bit more if needed, you can always add but not take away, for light smell its vice versa.... If you already have a premixed nic base your really only just adding the flavour to the amount you make, i have seen all these calcs about yet after 2 yrs i still use the simple one ,great to start off with: www.liberty-flights.co.uk/calculator.aspIf your using straight nic and want a pg-vg mix buy pg nic, with concentrates[most are made with P~G or Water] it will work out at a roughly 20%pg to 80vg mix if you just use VG on amounts you make Start simple then build up

I was very reluctant to try most new things like mixing and coiling. Just wanted stuff to work as it was BUT dip that toe in... you my might surprise yourself with how easy it is

If you know what general flavours you like then maybe you can concentrate on testing out replica juices? maybe then you might mix up something you prefer to ready made version?
I am an apathetic mixer, I just mix for necessity and generally go for one shot mixes and I mainly throw together 3 or 4 T-Juice flavours I use as all day vapes but I did buy lots of ready mades recently to try and work out what flavours I liked so I now have a clearer idea of what appeals and will mix some diy to match.
For example, I thought I hated coconut... until I got some cocomel in a bulk juice buy from classifieds, and its lovely! whereas tiger blood ( strawberry and coconut) literally makes me dry heave!

This might help Start off slow. We all have bottles of pre made e-liquid that can best be described as not keen on. Take offending bottle and add a small amount of a flavouring that might improve it or if the flavour of the pre made is to strong add some unflavoured base Within weeks or even days you will become a mixing god/goddess

Hi hissie I know what you mean took me over a year to go from thinking about it to trying and though my first mixes were less then great I found I understood what they needed. No one got into diy'ing liquid and was an instant success but you have the advantage of being able to take it at your own pace and we're always available to help if you get stuck. I'm a fruit fan so I'm playing around with those as well as trying others sweet and coffee mainly not quite got them off yet but I will . Start when you feel comfortable only go at a pace your happy with and start small little 5ml bottles the mixing calculator on this site is really good. I have just made a grape juice myself and vaping it now it's one of my successes at the minute as well as rhubarb and custard but I'm only making smallish amounts. Whatever you do you'll have everyone here for support.

Reason I want to start mixing is a/cheapness & b/just so I always have juice in the house. I would still buy from James that's a given because I totally adore his Cigar flavour. Doubt I'll ever be able to re-create that flavour unfortunately. I do have to find out which concentrates crack tanks however. I did mix up a smallish amount a while ago, but it cracked my tank. Unfortunately I can't remember which concentrate was the culprit. I'm not bothered about being a mixing expert lol, and part of my problem is I'm very clumsy and messy, so need to sort that out aswell. Will have to make the effort and give it a try. Just need to suss out flavours. I do have a bottle of g spot and one of the other spots lol, will just hope they haven't gone off cause they have been open a while. Although I have tried a drop on my finger and it is uber strong. I'm the same as Perpy, a 100% VG person

hissie tank crackers are usually citrus, banana, aniseed, cinnamon, absinthe and some mints/menthols. The only juice I have had that cracked a tank of mine was Joose Juice's spearmint. A tip to lift a flat juice, add up to 5% vodka to the mix if you think it's missing a little je ne sais quoi
