The trouble is I really love the format of the clouper mini. I want to love it as its a sixth the cost of a rdna vaporshark and seems to work as well as my dna30 vaporshark ??? AND I can swap batteries Same here pep, I would even bite the bullet and pay £22 for another if clouper come clean (not sure if they can...ie do they actually know and have sorted it) love the little device in hand.....even a burnt hand....ha ha..But not the risk of fire when I have my kids over, are the managers at clouper sleeping at night, I bloody wouldn't be.......

It's a shame they had to feel forced to skip QC, as the mini looks a cracking wee device that would have probably had similar sales as the IStick did on release.
Sadly Cloupors response seem pretty farcical, and really has you wondering about the competence of the company

That statement is an absolute shocker. A manufacturer that admits to not having their QC processes working correctly does not deserve to have customer loyalty. The Cloupor Mini should be the subject of a full recall.

Shit happens. They would not have made the boards in these things, and will have assumed they were good. Clearly there were a few bad ones that got through. That's China.

Shit happens, it certainly does if it causes a fire. You know what they say about assume it makes an ass of you and me. That's China, no it is not when it comes to safety.

I'm not saying it's right, it certainly isn't. What I am saying is that we have to expect the odd problem when we want everything so cheap and in such quantity. QC should have stopped it, and Clouper are paying the price for failing to put QC systems in place. The cost of a few QC operatives and the time would probably be minimal compared to the cost this event has caused them.
