Who needs Nr R Nr wire? zexel - get yourself some 0.3mm Kanthal and wrap up a 7 or 8 turn coil (2mm). Job done. My last 5m of 0.3mm was from FT actually.

What about the insulating grommet, and top and bottom sealing 'O' rings? Will Kanger type ones do the job?

Grommet.....I Was Getting Some Vile Burnt Tastes on a Few Occasions (I Do Tend to 'Hang On the Fire Button' Wiv Clearos!!) 'till I Found Out About NR/R/NR.

Dumb question time. But do you simply use these nr-r-nr premade wires the same way as an ordinary wire, for micro coils etc. And will they work with a coil maker e.g. coil master or kuro? Also at what point is the nr wire, just after the last turn of the coil or further down?

Yes pxr5 you use them the same as standard wire although you only coil the centre R section, usually the r section is black so it's easy to identify although if it's not you will see the 2 welds where the the 3 pieces of wire are joined You should aim to coil all of the centre section with the joins just below the end of the first and last coil. There's no reason why it won't work in the Coiler jigs although the joins may add an additional complexity to navigate. Personally I'd just use straight Kanthal for most atties but each to their own

No res-res-no res is great for protanks I used to use it all the time. Completely negates any chance of burning the grommit with the legs, even if your unlucky enough to get a dry hit, the no res legs don't heat at all really so cause no problem. Also some set ups oddy' etc need no res legs because of the distance they have to travel otherwise you'd never get your resistance down. If your starting out with dual coils they're really handy also because no matter how much of a hash you make of it both coils are going to have the same resistance full stop so will be much more likely to heat evenly and at the same time.
So they're pretty handy in my book. Especially for your first dual coil efforts.

My coils are pretty good, nano and micro. But they still are not quite as good as a Naturevape coil, so if that little difference is the NR-R-NR wire, time to give it a bash.

The only issue with ready made wires is they are very flimsy, its not easy to remove your cotton wick and add new without buggering the coil up
