Thanks Helen, I'm in no hurry so can afford to look at all the different options carefully before parting with my hard-earned! To be able to see one of these in the flesh would be great

I will bring my sigelei mini to the Vape meet and also the knackered cloupor, which I still have. Doesn't work, but at least you get to see it in the flesh, if it helps. I wish I had your patience, I tend to rush in and think about it after . Gets me in trouble sometimes,

That would be really useful, thanks debra465! My mum's cousin lives in Lanson, down the bottom of the hill in Wooda Lane, near the Steam Railway.

I couldn't be happier with my M65. Got a Samsung battery from myepack when I ordered which has a great lifespan. Teamed up with a subtank its a great package.

Well I'm hoping the Cloupor issue is more to do with how they're treated, I'm loving my one, it has become my mod of choice

Hopefully yours will be fine but the failures ive seen was enough for me to cancel mine. I certainly wouldn't recommend Clouper to anyone given the potential danger.

Hmm, I wondered about this mod, ticks all my boxes but just a bit unsure about that Gravity Sensing thing - what are your experiences in that regard richo71?

I got my MVP3 on Thursday chykensa and like it very much. It is, compared to other recent devices, large and quite heavy. But it just works with no issues so far and I know its early days yet. The only downside, as with previous versions, is the built in battery but you buy it knowing that is the case. I would describe it as kinda industrial but it does feel like a well built quality device for the money and the introduction of a sprung loaded 510 will address the issues that surfaced with earlier MVP's. Would I recommend it, yes I would but I can appreciate due to its weight, it won't suit a lot of people. Probably best to wait and visit zeldamum, have a go with it before you decide.

Thanks striker42, that's really helpful. I'm hoping to pop in on my way past tomorrow, so will have a heft and see if it's for me. I also believe that another customer who has the Xpro M50 will be in on Friday when I am having lunch with zeldamum - well, I'm taking pasties in, if that counts! I will hopefully be able to compare the two side-by-side which will be useful.

Well, comparison is complete, and after some dithering on my part, I have decided to plump for the MVP3. Many thanks to Kelly for dropping her Xpro BT50 in for me to have a play with; it's a lovely little mod but one of the main reasons for upgrading is to save in-van charging and I don't see the point of buying a mod which requires an 18650, gaining me nothing. zeldamum has been using her MVP3 for four days exclusively on the factory charge, and that is impressive enough for me. striker42 is certainly correct in that the mod is hefty, but reassuringly so, and the screen is large and easy to read. I know it only goes to 30w, but I simply can't see any situation in the near future when I would require more watts than that; even running a Kayfun at 18w gave me the mother of all coughing fits, and a dry hit or two, so 30w will be ample for me. The fire button is on the end of the mod, not on the side panel as in previous models, a big bonus. The spring-loaded 510 should avoid any issues with firing of various different atties, and the USB charging port is also on the side allowing you to stand the mod up on its base whilst charging. Helen has kindly set one aside for me, and I may have to treat myself to a Nautilus to sit atop it, giving me 5ml of juice on a mod which should last most of a week of daytime van-based vaping. I think I've made the right decision here - I know I don't have enough wattage to run a 2-bar fire, complete with Temperature Protection (whatever that is!), but the MVP should have a good lifespan, another consideration when money is tight

Another option is the M36 (now 45) with an inbuilt 1900 lipo Its light, well built, tad too tall perhaps (i'm comparing it here to my Vaporshark and Cloupor mini) but it feels nice in the hand and the battery life is two days plus from usage over the last week. I really like it- oh and its £24 - shipping is about 7 days (after Chinese New Year of course) www.3avape.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=353
