Lol, the only thing I was a star about was sending it back to Hissie - I didn't want to part with it

Typical...my GG is playing up again > Chrissie, the screw in the centre of the threads where the carto goes in, does it need to be turned up over or downwards towards the + end of the battery? Or is it none of those things?

Really puzzled to be honest Hissie There should be no reason whatsoever that your GGTB is playing up. I doubt very much the centre pin would need adjusting unless you are using an adapter? However, to make sure t's making perfect contact, unscrew it from the underneath of the attie cap using a pair of pliers if necessary. Then screw in your carto/attie as far as it will go & then screw back in the pin till it makes contact

I know Chrissie, it is bewildering.
How will I know the carto will have made contact with the pin?

How will I know the carto will have made contact with the pin? Neither will screw in any further The GGTB is such a simple, well made mod, there really isn't anything that can go wrong with it

I know Chrissie, that's what makes it so bewildering. I've just really never had any luck with it & I waited forever to finally get it.

Hissie, when you sent it to me, it vaped beautifully straight away. After the couple of tiny tweaks I made, it vaped like a steam engine.
What are you using on it at the moment?

I'm now using a relatively new clear DC carto. With James' Camel & Spearmint juice (100% VG).

So what happens if you put that same carto on your Riva?

If I screw the carto on the riva, I get a better throat hit & feel more vapour in my mouth, whereas with the GGTB, I seem to have to suck on it quite hard to get any hit at all & hardly any vapour.

That's so weird Hissie, as I found it the other way round Out of interest, how does it compare with the Screwdriver that you swapped for it?

Can't honestly remember Chrissie. Although I had to use a 510 connector on the SDII.

It's still not pulling the punches. I seriously can't understand it unless it dosen't work well with VG juice?

No reason why the GG should work any different with VG juices than the Riva does. Maybe it would be best if you tried another mod & sold the GGTB to fund doing so? However, if you list it in the classifieds, you would need to state that it wasn't working very well for you
