Evolv have brought out the DNA25. Same form factor and specs (TC included for instance) as the 40, but at 25W and $10 cheaper. Worth a punt for modders out there?

Thanks for the info......in my range of watts (for now) but by the time the $10 saving gets here and with the still soldered easy to break screen (from what I have read) and no space saving is it worth it over the 40....For me personally nope...

25watts, why not just do it to 30 It could use 10 A batteries and they probably felt 2 DNA30s would be confusing.

Seems pointless at that price point to me. If it was half the cost of the 40 then I can see point but not for $10 cheaper ???

Yeah Greg $49 for a 40 $39 for a 25? Lets see (presses calculator button) 25/40 * 49 = $30.63. That'd be more realistic Edit : Hey where did the price of the DNA40 go from the site?

I bet the cost is even closer, the 20 & 30 were the same price and only some on the components would be down-ratted, could even be exactly the same hardware with different firmware.

I'd view it into terms of value for money regardless of which components or firmware they use. I don't see any value in a 25watt version at that price.

I get that Greg, but look at the diff between the Segeli boxes and each size has to take an extra battery. Myepack: SIGELEI 50 W £55 SIGELEI 100 W £70 SIGELEI 150 W £80
