@yavape yes you could rebuild the Atlantis heads. There are vids on Youtube showing how to rebuild them with either a vertical coil or a horizontal coil. Brilliant glad I've saved them thank

Yeah true, ultimately depends on the looks the OP wanted. The delta looks like something from Star Wars. Didn't realise they were charging extra for the RBA head, that's a bit naughty but will pay for itself within a few months. . I think I'm going to go for the sub tank mini it's for a mini box mod so I think it will look best Unless you really want small you'd be better off with the mini rather than the nano. Both use exactly the same stock heads but the mini also comes with the RBA deck so if you do start making your own coils you have the best of both worlds.

Yep I'm going to go for the mini save up the heads I use while I'm learning it will be nice to compare the Atlantis to the sub tank to see what I think, I do really like the joyetech one I like that sort of look but to big for me at the moment a full Atlantis will last me a day or just under

The Nano performs every bit as good as the Subtank Mini, as with all sub ohm tanks though it's thirsty so juice capacity might be an issue for you if it's something you want to take out with you all day you're probably going to need to refill it at some point. Don't chuck the old heads away, i know you said you don't do rebuilding but you probably will at some point and they're easy enough to rebuild there's lots of tutorial vids on youtube on rebuilding them. Fasttech do inexpensive knock off heads. I would give rebuilding them a shot though all you will need is a spool of wire i use 28awg kanthal for mine £2.75 here for 5m. a set of micro/precision screwdrivers you can find in a pound shop and some organic/untreated cotton wool and some cheapo nail clippers. For less than a fiver it's gotta be worth a shot giving it a go. Hi I've been having a good old think and I've got the Atlantis so happy with that and I was thinking another sub ohm for the box mod mini 30 watt but I won't be able to put it on my vamo , I did get s nautilus mini to put on it but just couldn't get along with it , instead of working my way up I jumped right in and started with the sub ohm so maybe that's why the nautilus just doesn't hit the spot , so after a good old think I wondering weather to scrap the sub tank and go for an RBA a single coil little tank so I can put it on my vamo as well if I feel like it , I've heard great things about kai funs and lemo's what do you think ?? I could watch a few videos and learn , maybe there's one quite easy to learn on ?? I could even get some ready made coils for a few quid while I get used to the wicking so I don't have to many things to get right at once

You can coil the RBA deck to any resistance you want. i hated the Lemo and I have many kayfuns. Kayfun only really goes to 15 watts and you have to have the wicking just right to achieve this. Restricted airflow on the kayfun restricts the wattage you can go to. thats just my opinion of course and others I know love the Lemo. im loving the ST mini though.

I could watch a few videos and learn , maybe there's one quite easy to learn on ?? I could even get some ready made coils for a few quid while I get used to the wicking so I don't have to many things to get right at once I have two full size Lemo's and two Lemo drops so it's fair to say i like them, they are easy to build on and i've never had any leaking or anything from them and you get a great vape from them i use mine daily. That being said as Greg points out the Subtank Mini isn't just for subohm vaping, you can buy 1.2ohm heads and i do believe the kanger dual coil heads fit too if you want something higher, these ones although can't say i've tried them myself i'm told they work. You can also rebuild on the Mini RBA as easily as the Lemo and another plus is you can access the RBA base without draining the tank if you need to play about with your wick or coil, which you can't do with the Lemo. Honesty i love the Lemo and the Mini, both great vapes i slightly prefer the vape i get off my Lemo's but that's personal taste, the Mini is for sure more versatile being able to pull the base off without draining and the option of stock heads as well as an RBA. If you're someone who likes a tighter draw for mouth to lung hits though the airflow can be restricted more on the Lemo. The Lemo was the first tank i rebuilt and i didn't find it at all difficult, maybe i'm one talented mofo but i think it's far more likely that manufacturing and design have come a long way and makes it pretty damned foolproof with these latest tanks like the Lemo and the Subtanks. I tend to coil mine around 1ohm i get a nice warm but not hot vape with nice dense flavoursome clouds at 15-20watts. As for wicking i'm no expert, all i do is cut my cotton to about the same width as the diameter of the coil, you don't want it tight because it's going to swell anyway once it's wet and if it's too tight when dry it's going to be even tighter when wet and just make it harder for the juice to wick up to the coil. I then trim the ends so they stick out a mm or 2 wider than the deck put the bottom chimney on and push the cotton down so it's resting on the deck, i use a bit of wire or a paperclip to pull the cotton slightly away from the sides where the juice channels are so the juice can flow into the deck properly, wet my cotton with some juice, assemble the rest of the chimney and tank fill her up and vape.

Ahhh that's brilliant then there quite universal really so I can sub ohm if I please put the other coils on if I want to put it on the vamo and rebuild ??? Well you can't really get better than that you have made my mind up , what confus is me is how do you make the right coil if your doing it yourself is there different ways of making a sub ohm coil to the other, I'm going to spend dome time on YouTube now thanks for the help

@yavape there's an excellent riptrippers vid showing you how to make a 0.5ohm 5 wrap 0.4mm kanthal coil using only one of those wee blue screwdrivers to wrap around. It's one of the easiest rebuildables to as you don't need to wrap the tails around the screw heads due the innovative terminal design.
I'll dig out the vid and post the link for you. To make different resistance coils use the same approx 5 wraps but thinner wire, I've also used 0.3 kanthal for 1 ohm.

Thank you so much that will really help me its all so confusing at first , I do like trying my hand at new things I'd probably enjoy it and the money you spend on coils is a joke really my Atlantis ones are £13 but I'm saving them up to rescue them hopefully and I'll order the clone fastech ones to use as well
