Tom feel free to crack on if you've started mate, I know you mentioned this last night. I'm happy either way and if you go for it then feel free to use anything I've posted already. Alternatively I'll knock something up tomorrow, let me know I'm easy either way I've done a guide for building it with a microcoil. Will publish tomorrow, you want to make a guide for a spaced coil for it and we can join them? Will do mate Maybe stick it in the sand box then we can get Perpetua to move it to guides when complete.

We'd also get comments good and bad in the sandbox then we can clean it up before moving it.

Sounds perfect to me, thank you both ever so much. I'll just have to do the clean up of any surplus comment posts onto a new thread, once it's moved , so you both appear as co-authors of the Guide . . . but that isn't a problem at all.

Eleaf melo and the smok vtcx1 are other options maybe. As far as i can tell from looking the Melo is just an Eleaf branded Atlantis with some cosmetic differences, you can even use Atlantis heads in it.

Hi I've been having a good old think and I've got the Atlantis so happy with that and I was thinking another sub ohm for the box mod mini 30 watt but I won't be able to put it on my vamo , I did get s nautilus mini to put on it but just couldn't get along with it , instead of working my way up I jumped right in and started with the sub ohm so maybe that's why the nautilus just doesn't hit the spot , so after a good old think I wondering weather to scrap the sub tank and go for an RBA a single coil little tank so I can put it on my vamo as well if I feel like it , I've heard great things about kai funs and lemo's what do you think ?? I could watch a few videos and learn , maybe there's one quite easy to learn on ?? I could even get some ready made coils for a few quid while I get used to the wicking so I don't have to many things to get right at once I have two full size Lemo's and two Lemo drops so it's fair to say i like them, they are easy to build on and i've never had any leaking or anything from them and you get a great vape from them i use mine daily. That being said as Greg points out the Subtank Mini isn't just for subohm vaping, you can buy 1.2ohm heads and i do believe the kanger dual coil heads fit too if you want something higher, these ones although can't say i've tried them myself i'm told they work. You can also rebuild on the Mini RBA as easily as the Lemo and another plus is you can access the RBA base without draining the tank if you need to play about with your wick or coil, which you can't do with the Lemo. Honesty i love the Lemo and the Mini, both great vapes i slightly prefer the vape i get off my Lemo's but that's personal taste, the Mini is for sure more versatile being able to pull the base off without draining and the option of stock heads as well as an RBA. If you're someone who likes a tighter draw for mouth to lung hits though the airflow can be restricted more on the Lemo. The Lemo was the first tank i rebuilt and i didn't find it at all difficult, maybe i'm one talented mofo but i think it's far more likely that manufacturing and design have come a long way and makes it pretty damned foolproof with these latest tanks like the Lemo and the Subtanks. I tend to coil mine around 1ohm i get a nice warm but not hot vape with nice dense flavoursome clouds at 15-20watts. As for wicking i'm no expert, all i do is cut my cotton to about the same width as the diameter of the coil, you don't want it tight because it's going to swell anyway once it's wet and if it's too tight when dry it's going to be even tighter when wet and just make it harder for the juice to wick up to the coil. I then trim the ends so they stick out a mm or 2 wider than the deck put the bottom chimney on and push the cotton down so it's resting on the deck, i use a bit of wire or a paperclip to pull the cotton slightly away from the sides where the juice channels are so the juice can flow into the deck properly, wet my cotton with some juice, assemble the rest of the chimney and tank fill her up and vape. I'm just reading through all the comments again to make sure I've got everything write I know the guide is being done which is fantastic my only question is I need 26 gage kanthal 4 mm for 0.5 if I want to make the same as you 1.0hm which mm do I use please ?? Assuming I'm right and it is down to the mm

tbh its only just come out so still costly wait a bit and learn how to coil and it will run on the same wire as the other tanks and just so you know its never as easy as they make it look but as you can see its not rocket science
