So having - finally - got some money I am looking to enter the world of a Kanger Sub-Tank mini.
My current battery an MPV2 is obviously not up to task so I will need to invest in a new mod.
I am a bit spoilt for choice, so am looking for some guidance.
1) MPV3. My MPV 2 has been sterling. A rock solid battery that has been used everyday for several months. It is sturdy and reliable a real workhorse. So the MPV3 might be a good step up. My issue is battery longevity and the fact it is not replaceable - (the MPV2 is beginning to show its age), and lets face it ain't going to win a beauty shows
2) Clouper mini. Unless I read otherwise the safety concerns are too great to ignore
3) Istick 30/50. They look nice but I keep reading that the 20w breaks. Are the 30/50s reliable. Of course the battery is non-replacable
4) Segelei Mini 30w looks like a contender and has some good reviews
5) The Smok XPRO M65 is my current front runner
6) As a complete outsider the Kanger KBox. Weird with odd power adjustment, but quite cheap. I haven't seen any reviews yet.
Any thoughts - thanks
Nick

Replaceable battery, yes the inbuilt battery devices can usually be used as a passthrough when charging but that's not much help if your battery is low and you're going out.
Floating, spring loaded or adjustable 510 connection.
Something that will fire to at least 0.5ohm, aside from personal preference of sub ohm vaping this seems the general direction all the major tank manufacturers are going in now with their newest stock coil heads.
Those things are a must have for me, everything else is personal taste and preference with regards to features, build and design.

The problem with the XPro M65 is that even though the battery is replaceable, because the case is Aluminium you won't want to be removing the screws too often. One of my screw holes is borderline after about 5 changes so I can only use USB charging. Not a problem if you're near a USB socket a lot.
imho the istick 50 (the 30 doesn't have the headroom) looks the best bet, unless someone knows something I don't.

Personally i would go for the Smok X from that list... But if it has a usb socket that's how I charge regardless .

If I had to select one mod for the sub tank mini it would be the VS DNA30 or 40

I'll hopefully be getting my istick tomorrow so if you want can give quick impression of it comparing to my sigelei 50w another option you might want to look at as the latest revision has fixed the couple of niggles the original had. For your first mid range wattage device the simplicity of the istick are hard to beat mvp3 is good no doubt but a bit late to the game with nothing great going for it in my opinion.
