Not tested by myself yet, but going on other peeps' tests they seem pretty good. Capacity tests show 2600mAh+ and with their low Internal Resistance they should be good for vaping. However, I find the 35Amp rating to be optimistic, I wouldn't personally ever push them past 25Amps until we get that confirmed. If I was looking for a high drain battery right now I'd still go for a VTC4 VapingBad, your thoughts?

Ecolux has them as 22 Amps continuous current.. 35 Amp peak current is pretty much meaningless (except perhaps in a pulse width modulated device) it's only stated either as an advertising ploy or because every one else does it. I would pay the £1:59 extra and buy from Ecolux to be sure they're the real McCoy. on ebay

Unless you are building really low ohm coils, what's the point of buying 20 amp batteries? You can get cheaper ones with much higher capacity. I did get some 25R from FT, but tend to use my other Samsung 9 amp jobbies mainly.

I did get some 25R from FT, but tend to use my other Samsung 9 amp jobbies mainly. In a regulated mod a 9Amp battery is only good for 22.5Watts. Another point of buying high drain batteries is upgradability - the ability to upgrade to higher wattage mods without having to buy new batteries. I'm still using the Sony VTC5s I bought for my Vamo V5 in my M65. The final point is stress. Running a battery well below it's limit will increase the lifetime of that battery, hence my VTC5s still have the same capacity they had when new - despite being used daily for 10 months.

I just don't get that mate. The steam engine calc tells me I'm only drawing 5.5 amps at 30 watts. Not that I ever enjoy or use 30 watts. Maybe I'm missing something.
