Meet Sparkie.......He's 12 years old & is a Jack Russell...............My housemates father sadly passed away yesterday & Sparkie was his closest companion.........He now has a new forever home with us...........He's obviously very confused & lost at the moment, but hopefully he'll soon settle............ Now brings the grand total to 36 tiny canine paws in the house............   "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!" |

Oh bless his heart, what a sweetie. 9 dogs  I would hate to do your hoovering  Two is definitely my aim next time we are looking to adopt but one 34kg lap dog is plenty for now |

A little update on Sparkie............He's settling in really well, although still pining a bit for his master..............The others are accepting him, although, the cats are a tad put out.........he is used to chasing & seeing cats off, whereas all the others just accept them as part of the pack, so there have been a few mishaps & tiffs, but it'll gradually sort itself out.....
One very touching bit of news, is that Sparkie will not only be allowed at the funeral service, but also be allowed inside the church, after discussions with the vicar, which, I think, is wonderful.......He was my housemates father's sole companion for the last 7 years & everyone (family & friends) knew them as a pair......
