Istick problems...

The watts on my Istick are jumping from the lowest to the highest - & everything in between !

I take it it's kernackered

Most likely your atty ohms are changing causing the jumps, dodgy 510 possibly in the iStick, is it the original 20watt version ?

It is Greg...not doing anything different...but it was the first one I got, so has had a lot of use.

Maybe it's just had enough

Should add...it reads 'protection', which I've never seen before.

One of mine too gill2009 unscrew a bit is normally ok, but then you get that horrid rattle.
Think i need a kbox when myepack have them in stock 
Or maybe the 50w istick   mmmmmmm  i ain't bought anything in a while

It's nothing your doing wrong its just the 510 tends to rattle about and short after a while due to it being secured with paper-mâché

Mines done same this weekend, of course when i'm away from home, Boge attie that normally reliable giving 1.5 ohms (should be 2.8) cannot get anywhere near my normal 5.2 watts, will not drop below 6.4 = I run out of juice earlier than I expected, charge dropped alarmingly although I had charger, but least I'm home now, and it turns out it was attie fault not the istick.

I will bring a special zip lock bag (if I can find one) for it and give it a cookie

When ohms are switching crazy (I did this for my VTR - my first one - it redeemed it) a cheap thing to try is to get a cotton bud and clean out the connector on the mod

This is what mine has been doing. The speckled copy /clone one from fasttech started it with the protection warning and wouldn't vape. Now it won't turn on or off unless plugged into charger. Showing full charge too. Now my original istick I bought from redjuice has started with no protection but I find unscrewing it helps and I can still vape it for the time being..
I'm worried if that goes I'll be snookered. Any recommendations on a replacement battery? I really love the istick but if they're not going to last is there something similar but better?
EDIT: Just ordered the pink Istick 30w with the better 510 connection. Got it from Vapeinc for £27 ish using discount code POTV15 

i have ordered the the mini from fastech but it's going to hold up my order of nautilus coils by 10 days. Is the wee mini istick worth the bother?

Not really rednutt . . . although the one I bought has been fine, I wouldn't buy another though.

I tuck it in my pocket for work, but a Vision Spinner would do just as well.

I agree with Perps...my mini Istick behaves impeccably and I'ts perfect for putting in your pocket. However I wouldn't buy another...it just doesn't have that uumph that I like.
