Question for mods - other mixers please read

Would it be possible to add sub-boards to this section for each of the main concentrate brands? (and then moving posts to the relevant sub-board)
It would make searching for reviews a lot simpler

It would indeed be possible if folks think it is needed. However, I would have thought putting the brand in the actual board search should give you the results?

That depends on HOW the thread has been worded, ie TPA, TFA, Perfumers etc etc plus it would be nice to see them all tidy AND it might help people update, after all how many reviews of Red Astaire are out there? if they were all in one thread you could do an easy comparison

Nice idea but it would need too many sub forums IMHO; as a minimum from a couple of suppliers sites you'd need sub forums for

all people need to do is learn to use the search function but you can't account for how people type stuff i.e. FA instead of Flavourart. The more mouse clicks people have use to find stuff also generally negates them looking for it.

I take your point wooky but I still think it would be worth it, can you imagine what the recipe board would be like without chykensa pinned posts

This method would enable you to go straight to the concentrate you're looking for and (should) avoid multiple reviews of the same one

I must admit it would be helpful in some respect as search sometimes really gives some odd results lol.
But on other hand would be bloody complex.

Personally, I think it would involve an inordinately large volume of work to get it up and running, and then a mod will have to constantly move threads which will be inevitably posted in the wrong place.
Nice idea in an ideal world Q, but I honestly can't see it working quickly and easily

I can appreciate the desire for order Q, if we were to create sub boards . . . personally I'd rather see the same/similar categories as we have for our recipes, if anything were to be changed.

Fruits, Mints etc etc, very often mixers are looking for the ' nicest ' flavour within a group, the brand isn't necessarily the first consideration.

That also wouldn't require much input from us, as mixers could post directly their review on the relevant sub board.
