The use of vodka in mixing?

Hi Folks

I have seen mentioned somewhere about using a small amount of vodka to enhance mixes, if so what quantity is used in say a 100 ml mixes

I pre-dilute my VG with about 5ish% of vodka. So probably 2 or 3% in my final mix. reddragon has been adding just 1% to her mixes with great results car147

I'm new to mixing and the results so far have been ok.... Not great, but vapeable and not unpleasant. I have read about using vodka, but am unsure when to use in mix, how do you decide if a mix would benefit from the vodka? What should I be looking for?

As far as I know it seems to improve mixes. For example I have mixed a few where I have thought it's pretty good but just missing some tweak to get it right.

On the other hand I could be totally wrong, I await lairey 's response

I find it rounds off the flavour, hard to put into words, but if your mix is just lacking something, vodka is definitely worth a try.

Cut my VG with 10% Vodka before using it for mixing, makes it less gloopy.

Some say it enhances TH, can't say i've noticed TBH.
