sealover1 I know it's a bit late in the day but why don't you just pop along to the local chemist and get a plastic pill bottle for your mix and a 5ml oral syringe and a 1ml one and you'll have half your mixing kit you need? then go with the mixing calculator Perpetua mentioned and have a nice night playing. remember your baby wipes to wipe off any excess nic on your hands (golden rule to avoid nic od ) Jane

Could be as others have advised
For me when I started I got mouth ulcers and cough, my partner at the time had bleeding gums, all to do with giving up smoking and something I had experienced before, not vaping. Also the first few weeks I could only vape with a drink of water, tea etc otherwise I would cough, new but less and better chemicals for your throat and lungs to adjust to.
Keep with it mate.

It's still really early days for you, things will settle after a while, I remember the first two months I used to have sore throat, tight chest, especially in the morning, weather it was getting used to vaping or just a reaction to giving up after twenty five years I don't know. What I do know now though is high pg gives me a tight chest, and sore throat. No doubt there whatsoever. High VG made me fart a lot when I first tried it! This has now thankfully subsided! Also caramel flavours make me tight chested. Nothing bad or even near as bad as smoking though. I can now lung hit 30/70 mixes all day long with no side effects whatsoever. In fact now I'm thinking about it, I wrote a similar post to yours about two years ago, it was also worse in the mornings I remember. I changed to higher VG lower nic and the problem went away instantly. I also didn't know much about wicking and coils back then and I'm sure some of it was down to that, not quite dry hits but close maybe. Keep at it.

I agree with what others have said regarding different flavours maybe affecting you. My sister In law can't vape chefs vapour liquids or red Astaire. She tried vg only options and it didn't matter as it seemed it was the flavour. In can be a long process figuring out if it's a pg/vg problem or a flavour problem or even just a quitting problem. Stick with it, you'll get there eventually. Well done on giving up smoking.
