According to BBC five live ecigs have been added to the typical shopping basket used to calculate the retail price index!

Is this a sign of acceptance by the powers that be?

I agree with you Ripshod but the important thing is the recognition of the use of ecigs of whatever type an the acceptance of the widespread use making it a factor in the cost of living.

So none has been decorating with white emulsion paint as that's off the list but craft beers and e cigs made the list I suppose it goes to show we now vape drink beer but don't diy anymore and we don't go anywhere because sat nav's have been removed.

So we sit on our arses being unsociable  listening to music with our on headphones, drinking beer and vaping now instead of getting up moving around and going places polluting the air with smoke

Doesn't look good to be a couch potato  But better that than getting a tobacco smoke related disease now we just get fat because we are not exercising still putting pressure on the nhs

The utter cynic's view : inflation is too low and the country is in danger of deflation / stagflation. So pop ecigs in the basket then put a tax on devices and eliquid and you have an instant rise in the cost of the basket. The Budget is today, hope I'm wrong.

I thought the budget was tomorrow but whenever it is it will be a pre election budget so it will all be for getting voters

On the lunchtime news on the BBC when they talked about E-Cigs they showed a Generation 2 or Ego/Evod style device, I was pleased it was not a cig-a-like!

Out and about I'm definitely seeing more and more Evods/Ego and box mods of all shapes and sizes and less cig-alikes, especially amongst women. The message is getting through to some.

I agree. I had one newbie vaper at the bus stop last night..

He'd tried ego devices and didn't like them - then he was gushing about his istick 'I've not had a stinkie since getting this thing' and then told me we can vape where he works (the monkey house)

Yes, tomorrow. But the 'bad' one will be after the election when whoever gets in discovers the dreadful state of the government's coffers. Again!

But just in case, I popped a little order into Everything Liquid last night so that, apart from a few more flavour concentrates and another bag of cotton pads from Japan, I could theoretically avoid the b'stards' clutches for the next three years.
