And the icing on the cake:

Not sure about the foetal brain developement (there has been recent advice on this) but I thought the damaging effect on the cardiovascular system had been blown out of the water already, and any effect had been proven temporary, directly related to the amount of nicotine in the blood?

Again, it's like they really believe burning tobacco is better? I'd have thought everyone was now thinking of the 'lesser of the two evils' even.

I find it astonishing that all these countries are so tied to tobacco money and big pharma that supposedly intelligent people can't see beyond their nose end. Probably because it's shoved so far into the trough of cash being thrown their way.
