I was in one of my locals this afternoon/tea time, when in comes this guy with what can only be described as a house brick! He ordered his pint, sat down and started "cloud blowing". This filled the bar area with fog, much to the annoyance of the other customers. Later 3 of his mates came in, also with house bricks and all 4 moved to the pool table. The resulting fog, which they all found amusing, could not be shifted even with the extractors going full blast. This, I'm sure is a quick way to get vaping banned in pubs etc.

The recent popularity of high VG ratio compounds the problem, it takes longer to clear. Regardless they should either vape without it impacting on other customers or take it outside, it's just manners and respect for other people.

Mind you the same could be said of some smokers . . . who in the past have been less than considerate. Not that I condone this type of behaviour, regrettably there are people who don't see further than their own gratification, period.

Sadly there are those few who are just ignorant of the effect that is created by such behavior. No doubt it was/is amusing to them, however when a ban is placed because of their behavior then I'm sure they will be outraged at the infringment of their right to Vape as and where they see fit to do so. It is a harsh fact that all too often the selfish minority will cause the fall of any activity (and then cry "it's not our fault")

Similar to Trying to Park the Van Anywhere These Days:- The Pillocks Who Create Noise Disturbance & Litter are the Ones Who've Caused all the 'No Overnight Parking' Signs to Go Up...Forcing the Responsible Ones to Risk Bad Feeling By Ignoring Them! It's the Smoking Ban that's Caused this Sorta Behaviour Tho'....Smokers've Been Forced Outside for so Long Now That Whilst Vapings Still (Theoretically...!) Outside of the Ban, They'll Abuse the 'Freedom'.... Less Rules, More Responsibility! (Anarchist Rant Over!!)

I totally agree that people need to take responsibility. While vaping is still legal and therefore allowed inside, it is seen by the majority as associated with smoking. So unless the billow chasing individuals want to stand outside with the smokers, I would have said it was in their interest to tone it down. What they do at home is their business, and can live in a perpetual fog, but not in public. We are after all a very small proportion of the general public and need to live happily alongside them.

The problem is that these idiots will not just get themselves banned from one particular pub. This behaviour adds to the media-fuelled anti-vaping hysteria and will impact on us all. When the politicians decide to enforce the TPD and look at local (i.e. UK specific) laws, this imagery will inform their decision making and we will all face draconian restrictions and/or bans.
