first box mod ive bought and wow its great so much potential paired with a lemo v1 at around 1.1ohm after abit of adjusting found my perfect settings !!
i use it at home only but i work on a building site 8+ hours a day and now feel my ego type pen just aint cutting it which i run with either a pro tank 2 or 3 and i was wondering would a 10w istick be a good choice as a replacement as it small and compact and fairly cheap i know it wont be as good as a istick50w but i dont think the ego is cutting it !!

If the 10w can provide the power you require to run a 1.1ohm coil then it will be fine - What power setting do you have the 50w set to?

Well, protanks don't like too much power so it sounds fine But if you like the 50w so much then why not get another just for work? sensible price here myepack.co.uk/mods/istick-50w.html

thats where i got my original from realy good service ! id just like something abit smaller tbh i like the look of them mods where the tank sits inside the mod if you know what i mean but i dunno really just something small but packs a decent battery life as it needs to keep me going through the day saying that i vape alot less in the day when am working to when am at home at night ! i think one problem with the protanks is the lack of air flow tbh

If you are looking of a study mod that will take a bit of a beating the MPVs might be worth a look at. I have never used one, but reading around it seems the small isticks can be a bit fragile. I have an older MPV2 which has been dropped on a few occasions, but just keeps chugging along

If you want a little better airflow you could just get an airflow replacement base for your protanks if you're not using one already. myepack.co.uk/accessories/airflow-control-valve-v3.htmlIt's not going to provide the same sort of airflow your Lemo does but they are a big improvement over the standard base, that way you can get a better performance and still use your existing tank and ego battery. I still puff away on a mini protank with an airflow control base slapped on an ego battery first thing in the morning when i get up.

Don't buy an iStick Mini as you'll be disappointed after the 50watter tooly . . . a 20 or 30w version would be considerably better and both are still quite compact.

Only bought one of the Mini's - had a rare moment of shopping related common sense.

Personally, I don't think a 20w I-stick'll last long on a building site! MVP on t'other hand....now THAT'S tougher than the bricks!!
