well that was a fun read some peps are still missing the point sub ohming on a regulated mod is pointless ie an istick, dna, vamo if anything it can be counterproductive,i may have it wrong but i was of the general idea that 1ohm or above was better on a reg mod as you can use more of the mods power to heat more surface aria i also do have a couple of vt4,s ,nemi and a modded helios dripper for making those stars in there eyes clouds which i norm run at about .2 ohms(around 88 watts i think)on home made 99.999999%vg and some concentrate do i use this toy in the shopping center or the pub heck no(night club maybe lol)cloud chasing is purely for fun and coil experimentation and getting called a pokemon by the kid now we get to these new tanks that are getting closer to drippers in the speed that they can wick at and they seem to almost be cloud chasers out of the box but in order to make them perform on a mech as well as a regulated mod they are around .5 ohms compared to a ce4 its day and night but if every vaper walks around with one of these on full chat it isnt going to be long before rules and regs come in to stop vapeing in public places so to make it simples ohms are for mechs and makes a huge diff when you go sub ohm watts are for regulated mods hence why they say the sub tank needs 15 to 30 watts to work cloud chasing is for fun and showing off and in my mind should only be done in the right places and the only reason ill do it in a night club is its the same as a smoke machine and only if the door men say its ok are these attys a good thing for vapeing i personally dont think so at least till spotty 18 year old joe bloggs is better educated about the do,s and donts of vapeing both social and safty i dont care how other peps vape as long as its responsively and i still love my gizmo and mini fogger(.9)

Low resistance coils is the only way some of the higher power mods will Achieve the published figures, they are limited to the maximum voltage. That's partly why we are now seeing some with 2 or more batteries, to Extend the max voltage range.
eg if the maximum volts is 5.5v then 30w needs a 1ohm or less coil. Or 6v max running 40w is a .9ohms coil 6v max running 50w needs to be less than .7ohms
many mods odes will let you set high Watts that with the coil fitted is beyond it's maximum voltage, they will still fire, but you won't be getting what you asked for.

With any mod it's worth trying to work out what it's actual limits are and why. On a mech it's what amps you battery can cope with. On a regulated device it used to be, and still is on most of the budget stuff, Based around the amp limit on the switch. For the DNA style stuff with only wattage settings it is generally the maximum volts.
For all devices you can only max them out safely by working with the parameters set By the element that hits it limit first. Be that ohms, volts or amps.
PBursados graphs are not just the boring bit at the end, they can tell you how to get the most from a device.
