I've not tried sub ohming yet as I don't have a mod that will do it yet. My other half is buying me a new mod for birthday next month so I'm gonna have to give it a go to see what all the fuss is about. I must admit the idea of fogging up the living room does sound kinda fun. I won a piccolo and spheroid in a charity raffle at the weekend and I've found that to be a really enjoyable vape at 1.4 ohms. Enough vapour but loads of flavour. Makes me wonder if I'm gonna like sub ohm vaping

Get a sub tank so you can try the 1.4 ohm ( think that's what they are ) as well. Or what I found a fantastic vape is the smok vct sub ohm tank with the nature vape vct coil which is around 1.02 ohms the vapour and flavour in that is brilliant and the coil cam last for months if you look after it, as you can set the air flow to how you like it. Plus the tank comes with the two stock 0.5 ohm coils. Unless you build your own

drunkenbum at least if you get the smok vct tank and find you don't enjoy sub ohm it won't be wasted as you can buy the NV vct coil put that in and your laughing , to tell the truth I got just as much vapour with the nv coil as I did with the stock heads but a lot more taste

@yavape I'll be getting the subtank mini and using the rba deck. I've already got a fogger v4 and squapeR clone which can both go sub ohm. I've also got a dripper. I'm only getting the subtank because I like the look of it lol

My other half keeps telling me my collection is getting too big already. I've wanted a subtank since I first saw them (i really like the red o rings).

Remember 901 atomisers Jane @johanino . . . currently I've one of them on the go, alongside a subtank - poles apart, yet I enjoy the vape from them both. The current fascination with sub-ohming, is no different to what we experienced with DC cartomisers for instance, should we punch 1 or 2 holes . . . or make a slot in them, to get the nicest possible vape. What eliquids would wick best etc etc. That was no different a ' craze ' to what is happening now. These tanks are quite affordable, so if you want to try out another type of vaping experience - then why not. To many of us, vaping has become our ' hobby ', whether that be mixing eliquid/making different types of coil set ups . . . or sub ohming. And if none or only part of that appeals . . . . then that's all good also, none of us are smoking.

I think sub ohming is pretty irrelevant unless your using a mech. On a regulated mod 20 watts is 20 watts whether your coil is 0.5 ohms or 1.5 ohms. For me the benefit of sub ohming is that your generally using much thicker Kanthal and therefore coils are far more robust and last for ages even with repetitive rewicking. That's particulary relevant in dual coil atties.

I've been thinking of trying this sub-ohming lark, I have a 30watt istick so would a subtank mini be a good one to start with?

Final back up for connection probs (if it doesn't fire with a carto you really do have probs). But the wee gripper and a carto don't hold enough juice so now I take the mini Kato Clone out and about - and a screwdriver LOL You be talking waaaaayyyy too much kind hearted sense for me at this time of the morning Perpetua. I think you might need a chicken pie from the pie shop!

It would wil7985 . . . and if you decide sub ohming isn't for you, then there's always the option to use the higher rated head or the RBA deck. These are very nice tanks in their own right. You be talking waaaaayyyy too much kind hearted sense for me at this time of the morning Perpetua. I think you might need a chicken pie from the pie shop! You know me Jane . . . just doing my elderly best to put sub ohming into perspective, I don't actually remember a time when there hasn't been a ' craze ' of one kind or another in our vaping world. Though it's a bit early to ponder on chicken pies.
