There will be a few YouTube links in this post. Do with them what you will...
Sia was easily the most talented person on that stage tonight, coaches included, and some of the comments in here have been quite nasty.
The Daily Fail article was pretty poor too, absolutely no mention of the success she had before becoming a massively in demand songwriter or her retirement due to ill health.
I know how crippling depression, anxiety and panic attacks can be and I'd give anything not to. But I can't imagine how awful it would be to be forced into all but giving up a career in music because of it, or the performance side of things anyway.
Had David Guetta not pulled that stunt with Titanium, which was a stroke of genius as nobody else could have pulled the vocal off anywhere near as well as she did ( ), we probably wouldn't have got any more solo material from her or any kind of performances.
We can no longer have this Sia , but we are bloody lucky to have her at all. Allowing her to do things on her own terms is a tiny price to pay to continue to enjoy her voice.

Aaaaanyway, The Voice.
How the feck did Vikesh get that far? I liked what he did with Hometown Glory in the blinds, but it was downhill from there and he was little more than a zzzz factor novelty act by the end. Some of the notes he hit tonight were cringeworthy.
I don't get what Rita saw in Karis either, there were plenty of better singers that didn't get as far as she did. But it looks like those who voted were of the same opinion.
Of the contestants left, Emmanuel is the only one who blows me away every time he sings. I expect Lucy will get the stage work she is after, but those two aside, I don't think we'll see much from any of the contestants in the future.
I'll just leave this here to remind you all of the one that got away...

Will I Am, felt sorry for vikish thats how he got through, he played on the public heartstrings to get him further along, they were all poor tonight not as good as last week, I hated Emmanuel version of whiter shade of pale, it's one of my all time favourite songs and he ruined it other half liked him though, preferred the fireman, Maris has got an unusual voice that's how she got where she did but was far better last week. I didn't see the performances with the judges so can't comment on how the contestants sang with them,
I know its the voice but I think the opera singer would have done better on britains got talent than the voice, no one there is suitable to train her voice at least Simon could have got the right coach for her,
Although I think the right 4 got through to the finals, although Jerome from last year is the only winner that I've actually seen since he won, the others have faded into non existance, I,m sure the same fate will happen to the winner this year as no one strikes me as outstanding,
People weren't being nasty just taking fun out of someone most have not heard off and don't know about her imr gal health issues, but I would even think she knew by hiding her features the way she did would lead to ridicule, she would have been better in a mask, she's not my type of singer anyway,
Each to their own would be boring if we all liked the same thing, wouldn't be much variety, but I thoughtblast weeks show was far better than tonight's seems the fight has already gone from them,

Have to agree with Clairea. Emmanuel didn't do the song any justice, His performance left my ears feeling somewhat disappointed but did perk up when Steve and Sasha performed.

I loved Emmanuel last night (and every other performance of his) and I completely agree BrenD, Lara Lee was (is) amazing and I was gutted last week when Sir Tom picked Sasha over her. I thought the right 4 went through last night and I'm definitely team Emmanuel for the final

An interesting Semi I thought. Right people through to next week and I just can't decide who will make it based on vocal ability, however I will be suprised if we see an operatic winner on such a mainstream show. Lets remember this programme is a fantastic window to showcase your talent and I have no doubt producers and scouts will be waiting in the wings to sign the worthy.

On a voice perspective I would go with Lucy the operatic singer, cracking voice, but she is in a very niche area of music. So I think the winner will be Steve the fireman. He will get the female vote because he's a fireman, all of Scotland will vote for him as he's Scottish. That leaves the other two bowing out. I think all are good in their own right, but Emmanuel seems to make mistakes. Why Wil put Vikesh through only he knows. It certainly wasn't anything to do with talent. And spoilt the chance of a good singer. But hey it's supposed to be entertainment for us not them.

I'm not sure I understand all the love for Stevie. Sure he's a fireman, isn't the ugliest person in the world, comes across as a nice guy and can sing, but going on voice alone, he isn't in the same league as Emmanuel or Lucy. He is a good singer, they are great singers.
It has to be Emmanuel to win.

But if Bet 365's odds are anything to go by, Emmanuel doesn't stand much of a chance.
Stevie is at 4/5, Sasha 7/2, Lucy 4/1 and Emmanuel 13/2.
I'm still going to have a very small punt on him, out of the four I feel he is the only one capable of a performance that will make people feel like they have to press their button(s), sorry vote.

Some horrible notes there from Sasha. Not entirely sure that was the right song for her.
