^^^^^ I know, already been said ^^^^^ Besides that it's another mod that exceeds the sensible limits of 2 x 30Amp batteries. Even though I don't see me going that high I'm out for that reason. Still an interesting find though thumb up

They will come, but I find it impossible to have faith in manufactures who think that 100 W form an 18650 is viable, the YiHi will probably be the only good non-clone in the next few months as they should have the in-house skills to design and build a board the right way.

Doesn't say whether that is output or input but assuming it's output then wouldn't the input draw be well below 30A? Looks to have a tonne of protections too. When smoking time is over 10S, it turns off automatically, OLED shows SMOKING OVERTIME, reminds smoking time is over; the atomizer is removed when smoking, it turns off automatically, OLED shows ATOMIZER REMOVE, reminds atomizer is removed; when the atomizer is short circuit when smoking, it turns off automatically, OLED showsATOMIZER SHORT, reminds the atomizer is short circuit; when the temperature is over 72 it turns off automatically, OLED showsHIGH TEMP, reminds the temperature is too high; the working voltage is lower than 6.0V, it turns off automatically, OLED shows CHECK BATTERY, reminds the battery capacity is insufficient.
I'm thinking seriously about ordering one when they come back in stock because it's a damned nice looking dual battery box, i'm personally not really fussed about how the temp sensing performs although it'll be a real bonus if it actually works, and i'll never vape at 200w.

Doesn't say whether that is output or input but assuming it's output then wouldn't the input draw be well below 30A? When we consider the power capability (Watts) of a battery in a regulated mod we must first assume a Voltage of just 2.5Volts (accounts for losses and a safety margin). So for a 30Amp battery: P=VxI =2.5x30 = 75Watts. The limit for 2 30Amp batteries, whether in series or parallel, would be 150Watts. Power cannot be gained by conversion, only lost. So the output of the regulating circuit would be limited to 150Watts. There are currently no batteries available with a continuous current capacity more than 30 Amps. To me, the mod makers are opting to forget about safety in the pursuit of $$$$$s

As Ripshod said. Would you buy a car that could go much faster than the breaks or tyres were rated for (assuming you could legally drive that fast and wanted to), only a really irresponsibly company would produce one these days and why should vaping be more reckless? It is hard to accidentally do 150 mph in your car, but not so hard for your mod to get accidentally turned up full and fire in your pocket or even autofire (saw one of those Kingpin VaporFlask DNA40 clones autofireing at the last vape meet, not good, but wont send the battery postal).

It's more that it is a symptom of a shoddy job to me, I expect designers to think things through thoroughly.

Just a thought but a tazer builds power then releases it when fired wouldn't it be possible for these devices to work in a similar way

Like you used to get in distributor caps in cars back in the day..... Nah, the old car distributors relied on induced voltage from a HT coil not a capacitor.

The bit on the side of the distribute changed in every full service commonly called a condenser is a capacitor, but it doesn't supply the power to the spark plugs as you said Greg. A camera flash would be a good example of what philmepowers means and it would work, but not seen any mods do it probably due to size and cost.
