Already ruled out the Mephisto. Liking the Mutation X V4 [yep] (was initially looking at the V3), and that Troll (mmm, 510?). The Marquis clone from FT looks good too. I only wanted one, now looks like my next budget is going bye-bye! What do you mean by mmm, 510?

But it's a plus because I can use my Nemesis drip tips to make a match top to bottom. Thinking aloud again

Thinking aloud again The airflow is phenomenal. I have the extra airflow sleeve for my Vulcan, but the Troll airflow beats that. My favourite dripper right now, with a 0.54 ohm dual coil build at 40w... amazing!

A small "quibble" - I always post my reviews on here too! allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/47959/prof-reviews-marquis-rda?page=1&scrollTo=839817The Marquis is a great and very versatile atomiser, but not, IMHO, one for someone looking for big airflow. The only atomiser of that type I know of which gives big airflow (or a tight draw as well/instead if preferred) is the Hellfire Raptor - not a cheap atomiser! I think the Doge/Mutation type atomiser is what the OP is looking for....

And that be why I tagged you. Reckon you're right about the airflow (unless a drill is used) - I missed that one. profbeard, Your reviews are a huge credit to the communities.

i have a broken helios that i loved you could get huge clouds outa the wee thing with a few mods joined up the 2 air holes to make them in to 2 huge slots drilled out the posts to take bigger builds and the daftest one did away with the drip tip and used a juice bottle top with the top cut off stupid but fun have a doge v2 on the way will hopefully not have to mod it to get it working as well as the helios did and im gona have to find some sort of cap to block the drip tip off when its in my pocket(dont want all that fluff and stuff in it the thing ive found with cloud chasing is the lower in ohms you go the faster you have to inhale to keep the vape cool and the plume that you have is awesome for flavor and gives good clouds but not nuff air for .2 coils to sing check out todds review of the doge v2 its just funny

I'm surprised there has been no mention of the plume veil. It's a fantastic little dripper with outstanding airflow options, a decent well and is a dream to build on.
Id recommend to anyone.

Not that there's anything wrong with the PV. I'm looking for alternatives, more options. The problem I have is there's just so many options that I'd rather go on the experience of others than select a few that just look like they'll do the job. It's turning into a proper shopping list

I'm loving the Origen v3 currently, so much so I barely use anything else. Airflow is not massive on it, but the flavour is second to none.

ok the doge v2 thing came and 1st impressions how sodding big are the flat head screws the post holes are humungus bit fiddly to coil(3 holes instead of the 4 on the helios) did i mention how sodding big the post holes are you could fit a coat hanger in them lol i slapped a couple of parallel coils in the thing and its ruddy scary its not 3 bad for flavor but tbh thats not what i have it set up for but vapor production is just daft out of the box(will get you removed from any vape frendly pub mr@jackcustard lol) the air holes are nice and huge but the drip tip is a wee bit ott,its defo not pocket frendly but fear not,a juice bottle cap with the innards removed blocks it off purfic i found a smaller air hole for single coil use and tryed it as it was set up and it wasnt 2 bad (set up as dule coil so was a little hot) i got one for about £30 (gen) but i was in a rush but ill be getting a clone from slowtech its that good and i dont begrudge the money i paid for the gen i dont think there are many drippers out there that can match it for vaper production out of the box the only things i dont like about it is how little juice it can hold as there is not much room left in it because of the size of the posts(and boy do this thing use it and the size of the drip tip(but thats part of what makes this thing so nuts) you cant do anything about the juice but the drip tip has been over come with 2 juice bottle tops,1 with just the innards removed (for when its in yer pocket)and one with both the innards and the tip removed so it reduces the hole down to about 8mm if you want to blow clouds this is the one(well it is for me)with out modding it hope it makes your short list

Troll or the Freakshow, both have mental airflow. I was gonna suggest the Mephisto V2 purely for the massive post holes and "Proper" screws but OP has discounted it already for some reason. The Doge and Darkhorse are not rated by the serious cloudchasers that i know due to poor insulators, might be fine if you're a normal person though
