Reading the thread on ECF it looks looks they are not going to release any more firmware updates for the V1 SX350J Mini M Class. There is also mention of a new dual 18650 at the end of the year. That is going to upset a lot of M class owners, I've already noticed a few going up in the classies - I think the ML will not sell as well as the M did. Got my new VT200 yesterday to go with the one that @windows made for me, and I'm thinking that the evolv chipset is much better. Maybe they will change their mind if customers make enough noise, the info came from a skype conversation that was posted on the thread, but YiHi got the poster to remove it.

Well they can't stifle us everywhere, just been on ECF in the FastTech Veterans thread and posted about how I've noticed a few peeps offloading M class mods in the classies recently, and that i think they are making a big mistake, maybe they will listen if the mods & chipsets don't sell so well.

They seem to have a loyal following so will sell a good few Bob, but with DNA200s going for £120 it is going to be a very hard sell to charge even £100 let alone £169 IMO.

VapingBad Exactly, I have the HotCig one on order from FT only $149 (approx £103) and the VT200 only cost me £108 (got 10% discount ), and the nice thing is you can use the Triton with normal steel coils in temp mode on the DNA200. Can't find anywhere that does SS316L/SS304 wire yet though, and that crap SS317L from VAM doesn't seem to work, not going to get any more wire from them, still wondering whether to try NiFe30 or not, trouble is most of them need thinner wires/more wraps than Ti for the same resistance.

Someone on ECF just pointed out this little gem from Cloudmaker's Blog that may explain why they prefix wires to the boards bought separately and soldering the board voids the warranty.

Should have said that the wattage reduction is from other upgrades - the original spec was 60w and the latest firmware is 75w rather than the 120w/150w versions they put out for Ti wire
