That's not a DNA, it's a brand new SX Mini M class on it's second battery,  A DNA40 would not leave a mark at any of those temps.

The DNA only starts to mark the same cotton, same coil at 470 F, and at 600 F for 10 seconds it burns the cotton but does not completely combust it to noting, the YiHi is so far out even at it's min setting it is well over 50% error in reading the temp and well over 60 F higher than I want to vape at.  For the money that is appalling.

I am so glad I didn't get a board as once soldered in the warranty is void and I would just have a pile of expensive junk as not interested in expensive non temp sensing mods.

Consistent anyway, a few degrees out northing's perfect, of my 2 I set one to 400 F and the other to 410 F for the flavour I like, so a tiny bit of adjusting to taste for each device and after that they just work day in day out.

My SX350 Mini M is at 420f and has been vaped dry twice with just a reduction of vapour,..no burning or odd taste.

You posted that pretty bad burn test a few day's ago, not as bad as mine of letsavit's, but do you know what fixed it?

The first lot of burning was using a coil that had been used several times on my China Flask. The second test was with a fresh coil.
I have not changed the wick now for 3 tanks of juice and as I said, I have lost vapour when the juice has run out but not had any funky flavours.
I will re-wick later and wash the old cotton to see how it has been effected.

It just seems to be vaping well.

You saying worse has made me think, I did suck a tank dry like Greigster when I first got mine and it was fine, was on my 4th-5th tank I got my first burnt hit and started to investigate.. Can a chip get worse?

I like the dry cotton test, it's simply setting up the ultimate dry hit, the DNA is quick and accurate enough to protect against it, so should this chip.

Mine was vaping OK in a way I would expect an non temp limited mod to vape, but not for a temp limited vape I could tell straight away by missing flavour notes that I get with the DNA. If I didn't have the experience with the DNA I may not have realised as only had one dry hit, but the flavour is the best indicator IMO as it's easy to spot I make my liquid in 250 ml batches and chemistry is a predictable science so compound xyz heated to n degrees for j seconds should not vary by much.

letsavit mine did seem to get worse as at first I could adjust the temp below what I like although that was 65 F out compared to the DNA, then the next day and afresh battery it went massively out as shown in the cotton test and didn't it recover by taking the battery out either.

I notice that the VaporShark TSC coils for the SubTank (0.15), Aerotank Mega (0.18) & Nautilas (0.3) are higher resistance than YiHi recommend (0.6-0.12).
