It's bloody crap, tricked me again today, picked up my ZNA-DNA40 to go out, showed half battery. Few drags away from home it was empty and dead......why can't it just tell how much power my battery has or not...
Rant over.

I would check how clean all the connections (inc the batts) are, if you put a meter on the battery after it comes out and it's a lot over 3.5 V then it's probably seeing too much voltage drop and just reporting it deed.

I'm vaping in it now while I type and watching, the meter is going up and down as it chooses? I give everything a clean....thanks.

VapingBad cleaned everything, stripped the 510 down, all the tube threads and a marked approvement on my 18650 samsungs, thanks. Better on my 18500's efest purple but fully charged to 4.2 and bar full when inserted, drops a quarter after first draw? Not that I have any choice on the ZNA but is using the body as a ground a good thing for the DNA40?

Yes, but IIRC it's aluminium and oxidised very fast after cut or drilled, maybe the connection between the board and body IIRC was soldered could be better, just a guess.

Good news indeed letsavit. I was no better when I smoked really, unless there were 40 ciggies in my handbag & a couple of lighters . . . I didn't feel ' prepared '.

No, not seen it up close, but was thinking there maybe a screw or post sunk into the alu that you solder on to that is causing it and soldering on alu is almost impossible. If there is a screw put some Vaseline or noalox on the threads when you tighten to keep the O 2 out.

Only kidding with yer.....the ground is soldered onto a screw which obviously is screwed to the body...... Need to test again but it seems to be eating batteries, they're coming out at 3.6. I never removed the screw, just re soldered to it, so will de solder clean add some vaseline and re solder if I have to....watched my SXmini tonight, half 18650 battery after a full subtank mini so I got a comparison. Edit. Not sure if the DNA40 just doesn't like the low 1000mahs 18500? Reporting a drop within a minute? I'll do a Samsung like for like 18650 test.

I do at least 25r batteries a day or 3 VTC4s, 10 ml around 32 W on a normal day.

I don't leave the house without enough gear that some peeps would probably pack for a weekend away letsavit . . . just saying like. I am able to charge anything I need to at work, have the option to buy anything I could possibly need to cover any vaping eventuality without even leaving the building, and I still go to work with a minimum of 3 mods, 2 tanks, 2 RDAs, 2 spare fully charged batteries and 4 or 5 bottles of juice!
