part 1 !! what watts do you run your 0.5ohm coil at ?

Atm I'm struggling to get my battery to work in wattage mode, not sure why but im getting absolutely nothing from it regardless of how many watts it is set at.

I do tend to use the sweet flavors most and I know not to expect ages from my coils but I've found the 5 packs at a reasonable price on a few websites so not that much of a worry. Don't think I'd trust myself building coils lol.

Yeah im the same for health reasons plus starting uni meant vaping was the better option because of it being cheaper but I don't tend to buy lots of different things unless I need to (like a battery dying or tank breaking)

what ohm coil are you running in the device ?

iirc it has different ratings for voltage and wattage modes it might be that in voltage mode your inside the limits but in power mode your outside them.

that should work, the mod is rated (depending on what website you read) with a lower value of between 0.4 and 0.2ohms, even allowing for tolerance change it should work,

sounds like the mod might be faulty, one way to check would be if you have another atty with a coil value of around 1.8 ohms if you can set that to 12watts and see if it fires on the unit or not before trying to get support for it from the company (I presume you've had it for more than a couple of months)


or you could look at getting another mod and keep using that one in voltage mode, that part is up to you

Interesting - I only vape tobacco juices (normally naturally extracted ones) in high PG at 24mg nic. I only use mechs and drippers and normally have coils between 0.7 and 0.5 ohms. I switch out batteries once they drop below 3.7, so I'd guess 4v would make an average - so at 0.5ohms, I'm vaping my high nic high PG juice at 32watts...

Currently have 5 squonky setups running between 0.4 and 1 ohm (mostly 1 ohm) tend to run them around the 30w mark. I have a crown with a 0.4 coil running at 40w and a dripper on a dual parallel mech running about 170 watts (ish - very dependant on voltage drop).
