My wife and I started at 18mg when we quit, and I smoked 35 a day at the time , and we had no cravings at all at that strength.
I would try a small 5 ml batch at 18mg ( that's 5 ml in total, ie Nic base/ VG / PG/ and flavouring) not 5 ml of Nic .
Good luck, and post again if you have any questions.

Had given bottles a shake, but maybe immediately vaping the Boston Mud Pie wasn't the best thing to do, as it may not have settled. Have just chanced another try, and it may have settled a tiny bit, but I can only take a few draws and the nic is getting a bit much. Maybe if I aim for 20mg, it'll be better, and able to use it freely, rather than little draws occasionally ... I'd try mixing at 18mg myself kittyvape and just keep a small stock of 24mg eliquid in, for when you feel the need for a more intense nicotine hit. If you're wanting to ' chain vape ' then a lower strength will be more forgiving, that you'll notice less. There aren't many flavours that you can use immediately, most benefit from a little steeping/blending time to be at their nicest - even if you've bought freshly mixed eliquid from a Vendor, it's been mixed for a couple of days at least. Thanks Perpetua Sounds a good idea about mixing lower. I'm surprised how much eliquid I'm getting through, lol ... near to 5ml a day at 24mg (shop-bought). I'm sure you're right about mix it a bit lower, as then, even if an extra couple of drops get through, it's a decent smoke, plus possible to 'chain vape'. Will definitely not immediately vape a mixture again. Have sampled the ott-nic boston mud pie this morning, and the flavour is good but definitely too much nicotine.

7.2mg I think she said. Also might be worth mixing in a bigger batch as trying to make 5 mil batches will never be that accurate as you end up with fractional measurements. If your useing an aerotank might be worth getting a unicoil from virtual vape. This will give you a nice vape than the stock coils and can be rewicked multiple times. I noticed your useing the volt reading. Might be easier to use watts on istick click 3 times. For mixing I use a 1 mil syringe a 2.5 mil and a 10 mil all with widebore needles Thanks igual I apologise for mistyping the iStick 50w details as 'v' instead of 'w'. The mini iStick only is showing me 'v', but it was 13w I was using the mixture at with the iStick 50w. I think you're right that 10ml mix would avoid any fractional error; that must have been what had gone wrong. Thanks for advising the unicoil; just looked it up ... I've never rewicked/recoiled, but it certainly sounds great and would be another initiation, lol, plus very happy that I could ask/learn. It was a 2.5 ml I used, with a widebore on.

Yeah igual kittyvape has a few 1 ml syringes coming from me (royal fail pending ) Ditto what everyone else has said about mls rather than drops and also try making a min of 10-15ml when experimenting. remember baby wipes if you get it over your hands - easy and quick way to get it off . Cheap as chips too (I get mine from savers - one packet lasts ages!!!!) Have you googled nic OD kittyvape? Just for symptoms what I have done with nic OD in the past Up the water intake (find it screws your blood sugar first - yes this is the time you are allowed to have strawberry milk ) Don't vape for 2 hours! Next two hours minimal vape Jobs a good one. Nic kills in 4 hours if it does kill. Half life is 2 hours Worth knowing Hiya and thanks. Very kind to send. Totally agree about the baby wipes; thank goodness for Tesco's cheap and cheerful range, lol. Yes, I'd googled nic OD when I got so poorly after the order delivery, and been delighted to see the recommendations included chocolate too, lol Can vape chocolate, and chocolate is nic medicine?! ... vaping really is cool. Guzzled some water and Dairy Milk lastnight and soon started to feel a bit better. Hadn't known to not vape then low-vape, so thank you very much. Hadn't felt like vaping for a while, but hadn't waited 2 hours, eek. Still alive this morning, lol, so at least it seems it was only a couple of drops ott nic, thank goodness.

Thanks car147 Glad the 18mg works so well for you. I was on 20-25+ old holborn roll-ups before, and definitely am finding (in my so-far 3 weeks of vaping) that the stronger flavours are what I like plus am amazed I seem to be using about 5 ml a day, lol. Thanks again.

It's funny that I also got nic sick when I mixed my first few batches of juice at 12 to 18mg although I was used to vaping 24mg. It makes me wonder if some of the 'not-so-expensive' juices have actually far less nicotine in than indicated due to it being the most expensive ingredient. Could be an interesting debate

I think you definitely could be right there, as I was very careful with measurements, yet it almost seemed as if the strength could be '28-30', maybe even more than that. All the more reason to mix, for sure! I'll reduce until I hit the usual 24mg feeling, and it will be very interesting to see what number that ends up at. Saving some VG nic too, lol, so it's all good.

kittyvape - just to clear up any confusion, it doesn't matter whether you vape a new mix immediately or leave it for days or weeks, the strength of the nicotine will be the same, it's only the mellowing and mixing of any flavours which will usually improve with time.

Thanks chykensa Have just tried it, and I think I can just get away with the 18mg. May even drop to around 16. More flavour drops is a success; look forward to it mellowing and improving. Capella are great; glad chose them first. My mix burns using Aerotank/istick 10w, but can vape it on iStick 50w with Nano great! First success!

None of the wonderful flavour of the iStick 50w at 34w, but the mini was only bought as a filler-in when charging the 50w. Thanks
