The lowest wattage at 4V is as above and that would be the minimum wattage. The other pic shows what can be got with a 1V output. It makes for a much more versatile mod.

Yes, if only to reduce the time between shipping and delivery. 
It will make absolutely no difference to availability of the mod prior to shipping though (and our expectation is firmly set that it may be some time).

I note that the dual 18650 Kangxin TC mod has been listed today for, again, around 40GBP with an estimated 3 > 7 day lead time.

Not sure which is the best bet (I wanted one that would be comfortable in my back pocket during the summer so leapt at the mini).

On the subject of temperature control and the recently added dual 18650 Kangxin TC mod - the last picture on the listing shows the mod set to 260 F but the wire is glowing. Does that prove temperature control doesn't work on these
