Is that just a base to add flavouring to at a later date? i.e have you chosen to premix a base down to near what strength nicotine you use, awaiting flavour add at a later date... or are you wanting to vape high pg flavourless
a base just needs a good shake really as its the flavourings that really need steeping time, depending on which ones you use. Fruits are generally fine after a few days, its tobacco's and custards that need steeping times of weeks.

As Pepperty.
I always do my mixing this way. I make 12 mg/ml base which makes my juice about 11mg/ml. It makes knocking up a bottle of juice very quick. I keep a 100% PG a 50/50 and 20/80 at the ready. To make things even easier I have stuck arrows on the side of the bottles and written the instructions in my mixing note book so that I can pour the VG and PG in without measuring. eg for the 50/50 the instructions read "Fill to the first arrow with VG then to the second arrow with PG. Add 30ml of 60mg/ml nic base". The nic base is the only one I measure with a syringe.
The lazy vaper.

Lazy question Pepperty, where do you get the measuring cups from, I know I'll be able to get them online, but wondered if boots or a high street store does them, sucking up VG with a syringe is a real pain!

It's to make a stock pg/vg base with which to make up flavoured e juices. I was thinking more of whether the nic concentrate needed time to combine with the plain pg/vg, but if just a shake is all that is needed we're sorted Thanks guys

Try pouring your VG into a wide topped container like an empty 100ml e liquid bottle, then use a syringe without the needle. Works a treat and you still have the accuracy of a syringe.

Syringes are the way to go.... (IMHO)
Measuring cups are fine, but you will be surprised as to how much of the liquid (especially VG types) sticks to the cup.... this alters the mix ratios and values.
In a 10ml mix you can be as much as 1.5ml out.
Use a measuring cup by all means, but make sure you get every drop out.

I use measuring cups when I'm mixing 200ml base so accuracy isn't major and I start with nicotine base so it gets washed in by the following pg and vg. I just asked my chemist and he charged me 30 pence archiecat
