I see nothing wrong with that article, at least the people included know about the market and even get in some of things that normally misinformed in other articles. I can't see articles like that doing us any harm whatsoever.

One interesting trend we see is that roll-up smokers and pipe smokers seem to take to vaping much quicker than those who use traditional pre-made cigarettes, and we think this is due to what we call the “fiddle factor” involved in vaping. Those who are used to rolling cigarettes or normal “pipe care” take much more naturally to the charging, refilling and changing heads that’s involved in vaping modern devices.

I suppose it is slightly sexist but who cares. As a rollie smoker I felt that that was a bit "masculine" but it didn't stop me any. As long as I'm not hurting or upsetting anyone else I don't much care what other folks might think.

I'm sorry, but as a female (oh yes I am!) and a newbie (ok a big fat lie) I do find its a mans world on the whole. I know the fairer sex are more involved now but when I first started, I followed the big boys about 3 steps behind. And let me tell you, I am quite happy to continue to do so!
Mind, some men are idiots in the minority with their huge cloud making devices which could be proven to be dangerous, but I will always take advice from those who know more and better than myself, be they man or woman

From a vendor's perspective, there is definitely a gender divide in vaping. The vast majority of RDA and RBA, mech and high powered regulated devices that come into the shop are men. There are a few exceptions, but not many. I would say in the ego/twist and clearo customer base, it's a much more even split.

Does it bother me? Not at all. I was a tailor made smoker, mainly because I couldn't be bothered to roll a cig every time I wanted needed one... I don't have to re-wick or re-coil 20 times a day, so for me, it's not too much faffing, but I am a bit of a gadget geek, so the faffy bit does appeal to that side of me

As I say to many of our customers, there is no right or wrong when it comes to vaping - you tailor your vaping style to your own needs... if it works for you, then it's most definitely right for you.

All in all, a pretty well balanced article, despite the headline, and refreshing to not have to read the antz propoganda yet again!
