Think its gonna take more than a 5 piece giveaway to turn this mess round. Ships in three days probably means they don't have them in Stock anyway. Hope they haven't used this money to fund something else. Somebody convince me I'm being too cynical here. match these deals with stock market prices and then exchange rate its always in there favor for a little 1-2p extra on the dollar oh better put my tinfoil hat back on

Sorry for all that missed out, that's a real (insert swear word) disappointment for everyone. I'd like to add that if money's been taken in good faith, then the goods should be honoured at that price. It's no ones fault but the company's and they could be held liable to the small claims courts.

I'm really not that bothered that the orders are cancelled, it's annoying yes and it would have made me view Gearbest in a better light had they honoured the transactions that had already gone through as other companies do like FT did with the wooden PHIMI mods but what is most annoying is they have not issued refunds instantly.
Not honouring the transactions is poor PR Gearbest, not issuing instant refunds when you have informed people you won't be honouring the deal is completely bad form Gearbest. There is absolutely no reason you should hold onto peoples money.

I Have just read the t&c of ordering and it mentions about errors being made and they cannot except order and will make a corrected offer.
Then it states the contract is confirmed on the supply of goods.
So if they took our money they have agreed they have a supply of goods which makes this a contract?
If it was a pre order and they haven't taken money then they are waiting for the supply of goods Before committing to a contract, then By taking money once they received goods to sell That binds them into a contract

This is very disappointing for our Members isabel22 . . . . as a forum, we spend a good deal of money with Gearbest. Mistakes do happen, I think we all accept that - but with all companies, no matter what part of the world they are in - it's how any issues are resolved. Which ought to be immediately in the form of a PayPal refund that people don't have to wait on, for it to be processed. You are bearing the brunt of our frustration, whilst the error is not your personal one and although a giveaway/competition for 5 of these tanks is appreciated - it won't help the numerous buyers who won't get their orders, that they placed in good faith with Gearbest. What can you do to speed these refunds along please?

my payment has also been taken despite the email saying it wouldn't....so isabel22 since you took the money after saying you wouldn't I'm assuming that means you are honouring the deal will look forward to them

Can I suggest to all of you that have lost out on this deal, that you start a list with your forum name and order number . . . . in order for isabel22 to ensure you receive your refunds in a timely manner. isabel22 won't be online until the early hours of the morning I'd think, so if we have a list up together for her by then - then it ought to simplify the process for her.
