:@ something has defo gone tits up here. ive been using my mini nautilus with 1.6 and 1.8 coils from myepack and theve been perfect for last 7 weeks. in the past as soon as burn taste starts i change coil, prime it, let it sit for 30 mins and vape, no problemo.
until last night.
(this could just be a coincident) i got some coconut liquid arrive yesterday. ive also read on here coconut can be dodgy tasting/smelling liquids.
as soon as i loaded it it tasted meh, and within a couple of drags i thought it was the liquid which was the cause. no probs, dumped out of tank and put away to steep.tank cleaned out. i then load my ADV of pear drops and exactly the same taste.
so i guess it was just my luck and a duff coil.
problem is ive now gone through 5 coils and every one are the same. im not even getting one drag of flavor out of a coil. ok you may say, its a duff box of coils but its 1.6 & 1.8 so two boxes are so far affected. ive just loaded another coil and put the last of my crackberry in which i know has strong flavor and exactly the fukin same. im now getting pissed off as im not wasting the last of the crackberry.
ive now got two 1.6 left and one 1.8 coils left. the first coil from each box was perfect and lasted about 11-12 days each.
ive done everything i can do like cleaning out tank after each flavor and each coil. i start vape at lowest setting and then turn up.
im totally flumoxed. do i just chuck the 5 coils ive gone through since last night and use the last 3 which i guess will be exactly the same now. do i contact myepack on monday to see if i can send them back for checks and at the same time buy some more. or do i just carry on with my subtank and forget the nautilus.

having bought from Mypack which in my very limited experience (1order) are a pretty good supplier with a good rep, i would email them exactly what you have posted above and wait to see what they say, include details of the battery or mod used to power and details of the juice you used, they may have insight or an explaination, tho morelikely replacements to send out tho i dont work for em so cant promise that result.
fwiw ive mixed some UKflavours coconut flavour with pomegranate flavour 3:1 (1 coconut to 3 pomegranate) for a nice flavour the coconut is a STRONG flavour needing much less to show through.. with a 50/50 pg/vg base without any problems..
where did your coconut come from??

thanks for the reply. ive bought everything from myepack and theve been great. just also received another 10 occ coils for my subtank from them so at least ive got that as backup.
coconut was from joose juice which was the first purchase from them. also got strawb & cream and pina colada. before the coconut i tried cornish cream tea from cornish liquids and the flavor was great. finished that and loaded the coconut and bang. that is when it started. 5 coils later and still the same,no dalm taste but burn. i will shoot off an email to them. thanks.

Have a look at my post in modders forum, I drilled 2 of the holds out to 3mm and put a 2.5mm coil in about 1.4 ohms. I ring its vaping better than the vertical coil. You need to leave a tail on one edge of the wick to wrap round to cover the other 2 little holes, no leaks great taste and good airflow.

Before blaming a whole pack of coils I would blame the tank, I haven't got one, yet but a clean in an ultrasonic cleaner may be whats required, I haven't had a properly good vape for months, got a new tank and it's bliss, and I've been doing same as you giving the tank a clean between flavours, usually lol Ive been using a mini nautilus for about 8 months but and it was brilliant at first but after a while it was at most acceptable even with a new coil fitted, got a subtank brilliant at first, after a while and a few coils fitted, it became meh, got a new vct pro and I'm back in the game, over the weekend i'll try the subtank on the juice i'm using now which I know to be good, and see what the score is?

Not sure it's the coils but a suggestion stock up at FastTech on coils, about half the price although delivery is a few weeks.
You may like to phone myepack.
What mod are you using? Isticks sometimes do this.

thanks for all the replies.
now its a strange one. found one of my old coils that i was using purely for nipple juice and calli custard which are cream overloads and its back to normal. full taste, no problems. try the other coils and nothing. plenty of cloud but absolutely no taste. now ive had more time to try them now its not a burn taste like on 2-3 week old used coils its just like something is stopping the flavor coming through. so its not the istick30 and its not the tank. im going to try a very small pin head and poke the air holes to see if that changes anything.
fast tech is a good price but really were only saving £3.50 per pack of 5 ($8.97 / £5.81) but of course buying in bulk will be worth it in the long run. someone told me that anything over £20 imported is taxed, is that true as ive never bought from the states before.

Fasttech is China, you won't get any import tax because they label the parcel with a low price and also mark it as gift. have you checked the resistance of the coils that taste rubbish ?

I'm having the same issue - this is my first mini nautilus and quite frankly so far I am not enjoying it - first coil I used 2.1 (the one that came with the tank) burnt almost immediately even though I knew to prime it and to wait a good 10 mins to allow the coil to fully saturate before using it, and I started at a mere 3watts! Got very little flavour through it at all and after another few attempts ramping up the wattage a bit (but never going over 10w) it just started to taste blinking awful. I didn't want to believe the coil could have burned out in under an hour and with very little use but decided to switch the coil for the 2nd one that came with it, and to take the first one apart to see if I could figure out what was wrong - it was absolutely black inside and completely burned. Second coil hasn't been taken over 5 watts but the vapour production and taste is nothing like what I'm used to getting from my protanks. I've got some 1.8 and 1.6 coils from fasttech which I am going to try this morning and I'm going to switch from my istick30 to the mvp2 and see if that makes any difference but so far I have been very disappointed with the nautilus.

Going to play with some bvc heads next week using igual method, if I get it right I'll be able to do these for peeps as well as the protank/subtank types.

How are you priming the coil ?

oh, are they in china. i just assumed as they were in dollars they were in america.
im a bit of a noob but what do you mean by checking the resistance.
been using the nautilus min for 7 weeks now and its been brill. no issues what so ever and ive gone through 5 or 6 coils without having to prime. just leave sitting for a few minutes and its good to go every time. the crap coils have come out of the same boxes and they are authentic.
i interchange from 1.6 to 1.8 coils as i bought a box of each to check the difference but so far i cant tell any difference at all. 5 coils one after another cant be just a coincidence.
