flavours kind of taste like rubber duck Pâté

Hi Everyone..

for some reason the last couple of days, all the flavours seem to have the same kind of rubbery-ish taste to them...I've tried different cartos and tip but it was still the same so wondering if my tastebuds are a bit goosed!..

is this something that just happens occasionally sort of thing, maybe need to reset my taste buds somehow cuz I've been chain vaping quite a bit last couple of days/nights too..

Martin some people say vaping menthol / mint type flavours for a while brings your taste buds right back

Or a rinse with a good strong mouthwash can help sometimes too, I think it shocks them back to working lol

its normal when you hit 3 to 4 weeks of not smoking for your taste buds to go walk about... they will return and you sense of smell and taste will be rejuvenated but in the mean time menthol vape is the only thing that is gonna taste any good

yeah, funny you mention that as my sense of smell seems to of gone awol too.. hmm

I just had a look through my stash but I don't have anything menthol:S..

closest Ive got is peppermint.. will give that a try, if not will order some menthol

If you have a juice that you really do not like, or a small bottle, nip to boots tomoro and get a little bottle of menthol crystals. Add the tiniest tiniest spec to the juice, let it disolve and try that. Add more specs if needed. Use very spareingly because that stuff is super powerd lol.

I have a few juices I'm not keen on..hmm, that sounds like a good idea:) be handy to have anyway for clearing sinus etc.. Thanks Jemima.. just so happens Im going town tommorrow too.. excellent!

Maybe dissolve in a bit of vodka, then add drop by drop to the juice. It is very potent and I don't want you to make the juice unuseable.

Hi Martin

I'm the same as you the last few days. Really frustrating especially when I have my new clear thing filled with my fav juice and it just doesn't really taste of anything. I should be in vaping heaven!

I've run out of the menthol tobac that I like so I tried some Strawberry Menthol, which I thought was ok a couple of weeks ago, I'm not impresed with it now!

Thanks for the replies:) and yeah same here Karma.. I just ordered a Stardust thingy too.. and my taste buds went awol.. pfft lol.. Like Gordy says though, hopefully they be back soon and with the tips form the others I rekon we be ok... hmm, never know they might come back renewed and blow us away with taste sensations:)

Glad it's not just me then with the taste buds. I'm on Tripple Menthol and it's like a Polo Mint

Taste buds or the lack of them, are one of the most frustrating things a vaper can have to contend with . . . swapping your flavours about regularly or giving them a good kick up the botty with a intense flavour, can help sometimes.

Mind you, I don't think I angsted about how a ciggie tasted, just chucked them down my neck regardless.
