Hmm, just checked mine - same thing, a bunch of very short cracks
around the base, over the knurled section of the metal. Same on the
other one that I haven't filled or used , so it looks like they are introduced
during manufacture, rather than as a result of juice.

Hopefully they won't get any bigger, but I agree they could get worse if
the tube is removed for rewicking - which is a bummer.

Yup, exact same place. Only seems to be on one at the moment.

Thanks for the reminder Roger but yes it is zero when the leads are together.

Both of mine measure 3.5 ohms. No cracks though.

Hope the cracks don't become an issue, cos when I try a rewick/coil I'm gonna try some longer wicks to help as they empty. If it dosn't work I'll go back to short ones.

No cracks for me. The 2.1-2.4ohm is reading 2.6. The 2.5-2.9 ohms is reading 2.9

Disassembling the new ones is harder than the old ones I am given to understand..

Theoretically it would be better to use a pipe from the mouthpiece end and knock the center through than wiggling it which would put more stress on the claero tank.

I have 6 no cracks as of yet, reading on the provari are 2.8 up to 3.1 most are 3

Mine arrived too and measured 2.8,2.9,3.0 and 3.1. They all have one straight scratch or hairline crack going up from the base. Quite hard to spot and all about 10mm long.
I've had a good go at one this morning and am very pleased with it so far - certainly no signs of any leaking yet. They seem to wick as well as any of the clearo type things I've tried and I've mainly been running it at 4.5 v+ on the LT.
They look prettty cool too sat on a steel Riva - I may have to get a couple of the lower resistance ones for that
