Think I already mentioned this to you drunkenbum, Tried to fit a dna40 into my old kangxin flask but there is no sled for it to fit onto Should state windows opened mine up but didn't want to damage the flask Ah yes you did glen. I wonder if this one has a different internal layout somehow being the temp control version though? Looking at the previous post It looks the same, could be done but could cause some damage no harm in trying

You just need to disconnect the buttons and be genital with it glen, when I put it back I will extend the battery wiring so the reverse battery protection board can go below the DNA board, see photos previous post. It's the up & down buttons that are a bit in the way getting the boards in and out.

Also they use a cheaper larger inductor, not as bad as the YHi boards about half way that makes the clone board a tighter fit. I see no problem putting and Evolv board in you just need to take the top off the on-borad fire button, extend the battery wiring a bit and wrap well it in Kapton tape.

I don't think I'd attempt any of that myself. Would have to be a case of paying someone else to do it lol

I'm getting about close to three days battery life outta mine. It's astonishing ! No BS ! Never had anything like it ever, even with sammys 25s it's not much difference. That's straight 25w. I wish I could show you I'm not bulling.
I don't even change the battery's if it's showing 1/4 left, as from its performance I know that will last at least another 4 or so hrs.
That flask is an awesome thing

I love the flask, but I should have bought 2. One to use, one just in case ... I'm funny like that, if I have one of, I don't use it. Need two or more. Weirdo !

I did the same with the Cloupor mini, got two and they are both faultless. Typical innit

That flask is an awesome thing Inside the is a wire with a ring terminal that screws into the aluminium body, the screw on mine was dirty and this could explain the poor battery life I was getting. When I put it back together I will give that a good clean and put noalox in there to inhibit the aluminium oxidising, or hammer in a piece of brass.

I Think the first thing I'll do is get an allen key to fit and have a look and see if there is an obvious reason for why mine doesn't work before I do anything else.

I've not taken mine apart, but I've seen you have, very brave mate it does look like a dogs dinner so glad I've not looked. You'll sort it out I'm sure, please post the pics when you've sorted it, if mine ever does the same I've then got a build plan
