I can just about get a day out of two Sammy 25Rs lurking at around the 30w mark using my Atlantis or Arctic tanks.
Not amazing battery life, but it feels amazing to hold (on a par with the less functional Coolfire II) and looks great so it's all I've been using.
Definitely a steal for the price we paid.

I'm even more impressed in TC mode with some Vaporshark Atlantis coils.
After three days of heavy use, the cotton I can see through the juice holes is bright white and doesn't look like I've been using sweet juices with it. It vapes really nicely too. Worth the best part of £20 for five coils when the normal Atlantis ones would be around half the price? Ask me again in a week or so!

I agree, I'm still really impressed with mine, it does do a few quirky things like from standby to fire it won't fire, until you press it again. Hell no biggy on a very good mod

I can put up with that... as long as it doesn't get worse Agree with BrenD battery life is an issue, I originally tried it with some old batteries I bought for my 1st 18650 (dont worry they're a decent one, just not up to 25R standard) after around 10 minutes it wouldn't fire, or at least it WOULD fire but dropped the watts to around 5, put the 25Rs in and I get around ½ day chain vaping at 30w. 10 more 25Rs are winging their way from China to replace the old batteries

Sometimes have to press fire 3 times if it's fallen to sleep, the performance wanders a little as there is no refinement mode, it also has poor battery life it is only using 1000 mAh each out of a pair of CGRs and leaving them at over 3.7 V. Don't get me wrong I am happily using the flask now and have got into the habit of pressing fire twice before putting to my mouth which helps a lot, but it's not a keeper for me with the clone board and have a DNA40 in the post and it will still be cheaper than it costs to make a mod from scratch so I'm happy. Once I get the Evolv board in I will report back on whether the battery life is due to the mod or the board it could be either. These boards are not like DNA40s, they have two of the most important features missing: the refinement mode and the pre-heat (v weak if it is there not bothered to put it on the scope), not the end of the world and they vape well once up to temp. And one last thought: what kind of idiot designs a 510 with a more conductive metal for the larger terminal with a brass pin stainless steel threads would have been nicer than soft fast oxidising copper. , I think it is a marketing gimmick that China sell more mods with copper parts, it has it's place where the conductor is small, but is silly on large bits like the outside of the 510 and battery covers. No biggie, just means more maintenance cleaning the copper.

I was going to send it Windows to see if he could get it working but if a DNA fits I might get him to put one in it.

I wonder if this one has a different internal layout somehow being the temp control version though?

It is a 3/32" Allen key drunkenbum, just had a look and it is a bit of a mess in there big blobs of hot glue holding the board in place, another board maybe reverse battery protection not got it out yet, a ripped insulator on one of the main wires a right dogs breakfast IMO. The chassis earth screw was dirty which would explain my battery life issues. At least the hot glue is self extinguishing, I'm going to strip it down don't want to put it back together with damaged insulator on the live wire.
