Ok so got a vision stardust saved it all week for the HC RY4 filled it up let it sit for an hour to wick - half way down the tank and all i'm tasting is plastic bleurgh

That's not good news I've got 3 on the go with hc ry4 ha menthol and cocomel none have plastic taste tho ???

hmm odd cos i cant taste a bean of the ry4 just plastic .. edit it must be doing something cos the juice is going down - you watch i'll take it off and get a flood now lol

the taste gets better after a 2nd fill. im using 3 at once.
cocomel, black cat and mom n pops.ry0. all taste lovely

That's what happened with mine when I was trying to let the juice go down so as I could re-fill it with another one

It seems to work best when you keep topping it up?

The first Vision I used was just like that Mark, took an age to get past the plastic taste and it lacked any oomph whatsoever, then it deaded last night . . . the other one I'm using now, is completely different, no plastic taste and a really nice vape.

Odd isn't? Or maybe not, just some aren't as good as others even though they're the same thing, like a lot of our accessories in my experience anyway.

One of mine was a little bit crappy but then I looked in at the coil and saw it was all bunched up to one side of the wick , I got a pin and moved it over a little bit carefully spreding the coils evenly apart across the whole wick and that fixed it , not sure if it's advisable To do but it worked for me

Hmm well i only bought one so empty and dissect it is not a very good start for something that cost a fiver though at least with the clearos i only paid a pound so didnt mind throwing one

Wow you have good eveysight i look into the hole and see ---- hole

I had to go outside in the daylight indoors it was near impossible even with a torch haha

I wouldn't let it put you off trying them Anne, as with a percentage of our gear there are inconsistencies, irksome to say the least when you get a one that isn't up to par and I'm not saying that it's right . . . but the second Vision I'm using, is brilliant, completely different to the first and I can see why there have been rave reviews about them.

Only my first one was a bit wimpy but I didn't have a plastic taste with it
I have 5 on the go and I am enjoying them all, just hope the continue to be this good

Having given this some thought mine was working fine but when I changed to a thicker juice that seems to have been when the problem started. Do you think the thicker juice could cause wicking problems?

I think i will empty mine out and leave it to dry and then dry burn it? does that sound right? Then try it with some thiner juice again. They really are a good concept
