Hi all, Does anyone know the best way to clean out my over used cartomizers, I've seen a few videos on you tube about boiling them, but I'm a little unsure about this. There was also a video on pressure steaming them. Have you more experienced members got a best way of cleaning them. Thanks in advance.

Both the above will work, I use the milk steamer nozzle on my Espresso machine for the steam. Or you dould put the cartos in a cup with warm water after rinsing through add a denture cleaning tablet and leave overnight. Then rinse and spin the water out using a little pouch on the end of a lanyard (or Griz Whizz). Refill and vape away! Denture cleaning tablets are 50p for 30 from Tesco's.
However I have found at only a couple of quid I just bin them now. I get between 3 - 7 days out of a carto before it needs cleaning or binning. So a couple of quid is not too bad. My £12 a week vaping budget includes juice and 2 new cartos.

Probably only worthwhile keeping some old ones to clean out as spares just incase you get caught short as you can't just buy them at the corner shop

Before syringing I take a pair of fine tweezers and rub two sides of the coil with the striations with a gentle up and down motion..Gets rid of a lot of gunk when syringing with hot water and they're as good as new..

Yeah striations, like you find on a older type nail file..Used to enhance gripping in tweezers Edit Image added: A bit like this only finer and straight.

I can do it with carts..
Maybe because I only have 808 carts and their coil goes right across about 2/3 rds of the way up..
The one CE3 clearo I kept, I just dismantle the head and clean..I have modified it with wadding inside the tube and it works ok..I just use it to sample juices.
Add edit: You can do it with echomisers too..
