Finally arrived (5+ weeks after ordering) and the chalice is duff; centre pin dropped out/was snapped on arrival, inner chamber is completely missing so the 3x air holes go straight into the chamber and the inner plate which the pos post is connected to is floating loose and touching the base. Awaiting resolution or it's $10 drip tip:(
Reo is OK for the £ and fortunately my ebaron spiral fits (door not the best fit though and magnets will need upgrading me thinks).
Edit: but on a more positive not I've used it for a few hours and like the form factor/switch and it performs pretty well.

Never had an original Reo, but all I can say is apart from a couple of cosmetic issues with the finish( couple of paint chips on arrival) it works far better than I expected for the price I reckon it's a bargain.
I'll need to experiment with some lower builds as I just rushed in with just under 1 ohm, which is no where near where I should be.
Cheers

It is a shame about the finish, but I'm very happy with my one, not so impress that some members are only just receiving theirs now.

Must have been lucky with mine, no chipped paint or blemishes I can see. Only issue with the door, it's a tiny bit loose and the magnets aren't the best. After almost 2 weeks of use it's working very well with the Chalice clone I got from Fasttech, good for use in the car. Overall I'm quite impressed with it considering the price.

Glad to see some people have got hold of these,I'm waiting impatiently for mine to ship. 2 weeks in on an order from 3f,didn't have the "this item will ship in 7 days" notice when I ordered. My first time buying from this type of vendor, depending on the end result I will try them again,I'll just be prepared for the ship whenever thing.

creole got a haircut today...used the side of a fine grinding wheel on a bench grinder and just went for it. Stripped the mod first of all the bits, used one of my 22mm attys which I judged to have a centre pin not too low and not too high (based on all my other attys).....grinded down the reo juice well until it fitted nicely and made electrical contact
Time: about 10 minutes....its aluminium, soft, so just rather go slowly and make a nice job of it. I turned the mod a few times so that I wasnt grinding in one direction all the time, in case I was holding it slightly skew. Surprisingly easy to get it right just by hand
And I can now say: "stay above 0.5ohm" is bollocks. Running it at 0.2ohm for around 3 hours now, and the only side effect is the whole mod heats up now when giving it big guns for a long time (aluminium conducts heat very well, hence they use it for baking trays and so on)...when dry burning this dripper for about 5 minutes on a mostly dead battery the spring did also feel hot when I removed the battery. I'll keep an eye on that. But in use, with the 5 second vape every half minute/minute, its as happy as larry.
My gearbest reo is nowhere to be found though:-( still hasnt arrived. Shipped on the 5th

Well mine has arrived, happy with service from 3f,however the postman "lost" it on delivery.Tracking had it delivered but no where to be seen. My friendly letter carrier tracked it down and brought it over on her own time.Don't worry, big tip at Xmas. I've had a REO 2.1 in use every day, all day for 3yrs,the smaller one in picture ;p . The clone is very good, door alittle scratchy to use (it'll smooth out I'm sure) and paint is different but fine. The paint on the original is bomb proof, the 2.1 hardly has a mark. I clipped the feed tube on an angle and am puffing as I type. Its a simple machine that works as it should.
