If you'll forgive me . . . . too much is made of how difficult it is to draw a VG base/VG up. Do away with needles completely and use a small cup, shot glass, the cap of a mouthwash bottle ( anything really! ) pour some of your VG base/VG into that and draw up using a syringe. Couldn't be easier. Shot glasses - pound shop is thy friend VG dilutent - boots value - click and collect (min 5 bottles - you're going to need them!) - www.boots.com/en/Value-Health-Glycerin-B-P-200ml_852418/ (which for some reason they've suddenly taken out of stock online!!! )

Have looked in the local poundland and 99p store, and between them i should be able to pick up all manner of bits i will need for measuring and mixing, and amazon looks good for bottles, latex gloves and syringes, and lubrisolve have some nice prices for PG, VG and nicotine, flavours will be something i will be shopping around for based on off the shelf liquids i know i like, but looks like i can produce 4 months worth of liquid myself for about the same as i am spending in a month at the moment, and actually get the flavours i want made to the ratio i need for sub ohming, now just to get the money together to buy the initial stuff i need

It takes me about 5 minutes to whip up 30ml - if that!!! Time is not an excuse..... but then I don't steep That's one of the good things about it though - you can spend hours (like me... slightly OCD) searching the interwebz for recipe inspiration, and then more hours taking concentrates in and out of your Chef's basket, then more hours actually mixing things up.... Or - like @johanino and others, you can whip up a quick bottle in next to no time and the job's a good 'un Have fun - I thoroughly love mixing and am so glad that I took the leap and got into it.

I too take my time with it as I find it very therapeutic, I also love researching and tinkering. Mixed up two today I haven't made before .....Pineapple Upside Down Cake (some maple syrup and brown sugar in this one)......and a Key Lime Pie. I won't find out what they are like until next week in Spain

fwiw i have been mixing up some simple single concentrate (mainly fruit) juice mixes, and am now about to start with some more complex recipes Steeping juice makes a big difference in flavour, i only found this out after tasting a bottle 'green' and then when emptying the bottle later when steeped and mature.. Tips i wish someone had given me (or i had read...) mix up in a bigger bottle so the headroom for a good mix (shake) isnt limited when the bottle fills up.. and if you dont rate the juice green , have patience to taste a few weeks later And take the time to label i use cloth plaster tape and a sharpie, no runs and easy to remove

You see I just mix single concentrates folks. It suits me just fine. Though I use 35ml bottles (from friendly chemist) for a 30ml mix ....Like I said - takes me 5 minutes And whatever ratio Nic I'm using at that time I save on my e-liquid calculator (free) - so it's easy to find. No messing around with numbers every two secs - which you can do on this one (And it's free ). Put all your figures in. (preferences - can be a little awkward but you only have to do it once)....make your recipe - save and label - sorted!
