Great hear it's going well for you MrsM . . . apologies for not posting on your thread sooner to say so, I've been trapped on the shopping related ones! I'd agree with what everyone has said, don't put yourself under any pressure to not smoke ciggies . . . they'll become all the more like forbidden fruit if you do . . . go with what feels right for you. O yeah, meant to say . . . I use a Silver Bullet when I'm out mainly, couldn't give a fig what anyone thinks myself.

MrsMac, i have used my Riva when out and about but i would feel a bit funny using it with the stardust on top, it just looks a bit medicinal! When i'm at work I tend to stick to my cig-a-likes, I like to be discrete, although I was showing my bling batteries off to anyone who seemed remotely interested last week

I still feel a bit shy using my Riva in the street, I know I shouldn't be lol!! I usually use my mini titan.
Got stopped on the High Street the other day, a lady must have seen the vapor and asked if I could give her a light. Had to say sorry but I didn't have a lighter on me, she then said "oh but you're smoking" had to tell her that the "smoke" she must have seen was from my e-cig.
Poor woman looked desperate for her cigarette but no light!!

lol esme, cant imagine her face! Indeed I shouldn't care less what others think but I find myself looking left and right at a traffic lights before taking a vape :-[, it wasnt so bad when I was using cartos on me vgo/ego/riva but since sticking the stardust on top, it does look quite like a piece of medicinal kit lol, maybe I could make a sleeve for it...hmmmm I refuse to give it up lol

After about 3 days of being out with my mum, she finally asked me where my ecig was. She said she saw the vapour but kept wondering why I was chewing on a pen all the time. For some reason she never put 2 and 2 together and realised it was my "pen" riva in my hand lol The first few times I was a little nervous being out and about with it, but then I realised that noone gave a c%*! and was more concerned with their lives than watching what I was doing. And if they were looking at me it was my stunning beauty and not my e-cig they were looking at lol

I'm still in the habit of having a rollie or two last thing at night; it's purely habit though. I'm not beating myself up about it though as I've gone from about 15 rollies a day to just two and I reckon that's pretty good It's odd that I'm hoping for rain at night as sat on the back doorstep (never smoke in the house) is hopefully going to help me break the habit. Apologies for everyone for the rain; it's my fault Just as an aside; I've noticed the difference in my lung capacity when I'm at the gym. Previously, my lungs would give out before my legs and now it's totally the other way around.

Well done Elliebobs, I know some give up the nasties straight away and that for others it can take a while; while we experiment with different juices and equipment etc. What we need to remember is that it took longer than a few days or weeks to build the habit in the first place and some find it easier than others to break a habit. Remember, we are smoking a different brand now, I think i changed my brand at least 4 times over many years, each time for different reasons and that is how I am approaching vaping. Remember the overall goal, do not put on any pressure and enjoy the benefits as they come...and they will

Well done from me as well Elliebob Mrsmac s right, don't put yourself under any pressure. Count the ciggies you don't smoke, not the ones you do. And well done to you as well Mrsmac
