Sorry I didn't tell you about the modes last night, it was a beezer vf weekend and took me about 3 hours to catch up with my forums. On some DNA 200 the battery bar would go to empty after uploading the fw, but you can soft reboot or just let is clear, nothing to worry about. Also it may cause VaporSharks to charge slower, again that is not causing damage and they are working flat out to resolve these.

Oh nearly forgot, really seeing a difference using SS now on the DNA200, much better and now much the same as the version used in the DNA75

I put a pair of plain 0.5mm premade SS316 coils into a Griffin. 0.14 ohms.....lowish but there you go.

escribe reset the battery meter to zero again.
wouldn't accept temp change to profile
reset preheat, reset temp, reset power.....wouldn't read temperature or limit..varm!

Waited for the atty and coil to cool....did this 4 times until it finally accepted the temperature setting.

I've got a feeling I'm going to step back the firmware and load the new profile......if it works?

Closed escribe, restarted escribe, again reset battery meter to zero.

5th time lucky. Nice vape @195c is smooth and dandy, straight up to temperature at 80w 1 second preheat and 60w power.

stevef, i just did the update, reconfigured the WH's , then soft reset, uploaded back to device and Bob's your uncle.

Yup just noticed mine's the same, it is still regulating tc, but no screen info as you say. ah well i'll just run with it until they sort the bugs.

did the soft reboot, still won't show temp protected warning on screen.
I know its working because mod monitor shows it is bang on the temperture but as it is not 100%

On the materials profiles there is now a checkbox for temp sensing, make sure this is checked and unchecked if you have a material called watts. I did see this cause some faffing about for 1 guy so it may be your issue SteveF, I have been lucky I only got the battery bar zeroing on the SP1 version.

Make sure when you install that you have service packs checked and reinstalling with service packs checked will get you the latest fixes from Evolv. Also they are now calling fw service packs, but these are different from the EScrib service packs.

running version 1.2 and service pack V 1.2 SP2
temperature control tab on profile checked

I've stepped back to escribe version 2016-02-29 EScribe 1.0.42 (3001-02-00R2 in mod monitor)and the SS316 profile still won't show temperature protection on screen.

Haven't got anything else with a TC coil in it at the moment to see whether or not its across the board.
