For changeable batteries, a Clouper mini is what you need. Smowell DPV50 needs to be unscrewed to change (and the screws are tiny and made of cheese), Clouper Mini is magnet catches. I have both btw.

Thanks all for your input, on a few brewing forums I'm one of the ones who's been doing it a while so know what it's like to see the same questions keep coming up so please bear with me. To clarify a couple of points - I'm not set on replaceable batteries, it just seems more convenient to swap out a battery and carry on rather than plug in to charge. I've not looked into it but assume a spare battery and charger must be cheaper than 2 iSticks, plus they can be used in other devices or further upgrades ( I assume). As I don't quite know what I need I've not set a budget, however the iStick 30 and Clouper mini prices seem reasonable. My EVODS are ok, I'd just like a bit more battery life, bigger tank, better hit.. just something a bit better. Thank you all for the input.

Welcome keith1664Yup, even a 650 battery is annoying and that's 3-4 times more than a cig-a-like. Sorting you out with something that lasts should be easy. In the old days, you more or less had to buy a mod with batteries you take out/put in. Now, you can buy something off the shelf with no need for extra chargers and batteries. Pros and Cons with both systems.

They are . . . . and in all honesty I'd probably get both in your position, not just because I enjoy shopping - but it is nice to have the choice on what to use. Plus it's always worth having back ups. Welcome to you keith1664.

from me no question is too dumb, we all started, and most of us have moved on and up. I'm sure I have asked some truly dumb questions on here .... but like prr says - when you are starting out no question is stupid as that's how we learn ! My example of this is whilst on my apprenticeship, being the only girl I always felt I had to prove something to the guys on my course, in one Engineering Science lecture we'd listened for about 20 minutes and the lecturer asked 'does everyone understand this' .. I sheepishly put my hand up and said "sorry sir but I don't" .. there were rumbles of laughter from all the guys in the room .... UNTIL !!!!!!! the lecturer said "OK - that's not a problem, seeing as everyone else understands it they can explain it to you" - he then proceeded to ask everyone else in the classroom to explain it to me - and guess what ?? NO-ONE could !!! but I'd been the only one brave enough to admit it. Since that day I have never been afraid to ask a question no matter how silly it might be as you can bet your bottom dollar there will be someone else who doesn't know but is too afraid to ask

Thanks for the recommendations so far, I'm researching the iStick, Cloupor and Smowell. But quite frankly the array of Clearomisers is bewildering. The Nautilus mini has been mentioned but what else should I be looking at?

I have the istick and mini nautilus (amongst other things) and can highly recommend that combination This is my 'out and about' combination keith1664 The problem I have found with this vaping lark is that there are SOOOOOOOOOO many choices !! I have the istick & mini nautilus for 'out and about day trips' .. I have Ego one for 'most other days' then there is the aspire cf sub for home use (as I find that a bit big for sticking in my pocket) currently looking into the kanger mini sub box as that looks way to cool not to have ... (god that makes me sound old - does anyone use the word 'cool' now-a-days??) But I don't think you could go wrong with the istick and mini nautilus to start off with .. but then I aint no expert so don't listen to me

The Nautilus mini has been mentioned but what else should I be looking at? If you want to go up in power, then Kanger Subtank. Down in power (and size).... does anybody go down in power and size? Mini Nautilus is the best medium/small tank i.m.o.
